As it so happened, Mirrikh could and did appreciate directness. Their gaze followed Elayne's towards the distant silhouette of an overgrown temple.

They were mildly curious about the other's gifts, that it would require a special place for growth of a child. But magic was beyond their interests, and they had a feeling this was much to do with magic.

"Lead the way and I will follow," Mirrikh agreed, easily to the ask. A deal had been made, and they were not one to go back on their word.
