QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

"Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play"
At first Tennessee was completely unaware of his sister's discomfort. He was just pleased that they might be going in the right direction and that Daisy was still along for the ride. He walked along, head held high and a jaunty tune humming in his throat... Until he noticed Inima lagging behind. He stopped humming and turned around. Now he noticed that her complexion was off, face turned down into a frown while she trudged along.
Concerned he dropped back to walk beside her. "Somethin' the matter, sugarcube?" Was she sick? The tunnel getting her down? He hoped not. Or whatever it was, he hoped he would be able to do something about it.

He fell back into step with her. He noticed. She moved towards him, her fur brushing his with her proximity. Inima wasn't quite sure how to explain her feelings. The way she felt so... bad. About hurting another living thing. And, of course, she was hungry. Her stomach rumbled quite loudly, for emphasis. But Inima sped through her words, trying to rapid-fire explain her feelings. It wasn't hunger that was bothering her.
"I d-d-don't want to hurt a-anyone-t-thing. I w-w-want them to b-be allokay. N-n-not hurt." Her words were frustratingly broken. The problem with talking too fast. She took a deep breath, and waited. Time to speak slower. Time to try and explain - better.
"All live is v-valuable," she began, a little haltingly, "I d-don't want to cause another's pain, or d-death. Even a bug's. Or a plant's. But I know I n-need to eat."
The explanation was acceptable. She didn't like it, still, but it was better than her rushed-together words. She looked at Tennessee with worry. Would he think it strange? It's just - she wanted to help everyone. Everything. Killing to eat would not to achieve the ability to help. If only there was a way she could eat without killing.

"Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play"
Tennessee listened with all the patience of an older brother, brow furrowing with concern when he heard the rumbling of her gut but the contradicting explanation. "Well, shoot! They're just lil' buggies! An' I'm sure they don't feel no pain goin' down. Daisy makes it nice'n'fast." Or so he thought. It sure looked pretty fast when she snapped all of the bugs up in her crooked fangs. Still, he supposed he could understand her concern but they had to eat. "'Sides, we all gotta eat, sugarcube. If ya don't then... well... then..." Well, he didn't quite know. He was still freshly hatched and thew ways of the world were still new. "Tell ya what. When we get outta this dingy ole tunnel we'll go searchin' for some sorta food special just fer you. How's about that? Maybe we'll get some seeds or some fruits. That's not exactly hurtin' the plant, is it?" The seeds were coming out anyway and it was the same for the fruti, right? "Yer a sensitive sort, I reckon an' that's a good thing." Perhaps a sensitive gal like her could help keep him in tune with the nature around him.
