She gave a long sigh, blinking, the song, the dream, done. She smiled at her little Pounce and kissed them again. "And they lived happily ever after. The end."

She laughed and kissed her jaguar on the forehead. Bubbling laughter erupted as he nuzzled into her. Awaiting for the next verse with excitement coursing through his veins. He could tell by the second verse she was falling into rhythm. She would do this every time she told a story. Putting her entire soul and being into the beautiful tales she would spin for fun and out of love. He was so happy, so enthralled!

The song held a magnificent story! One of a cruel king, a brave knight and a pure and loving lady. He couldn't help but imagine both himself and his loving doe in the song. The cruel king being someone who was a mysterious stranger of course, he had yet to meet anyone who could fit the bill perfectly.

Eyes wide with wonder he knew the song was coming to an end until finally "And they lived happily ever after. The end." She gave a long sigh and and with a smile kissed him again. All he could do in return with such excitement was nuzzle against her. His tail straight in the air, swirling and twirling about. "I loved it! The knight and lady lived happily ever after! Just like us right!" A rumbling began to fill his chest, purring rather loudly he nestled next to her.

With a rather large yawn he knew that song was just the thing to have them both drift back into dream land. Eye lids growing heavy he could only mumble about how nice and wonderful the song was. How much he loved it before he simply drifted off into sleep.

She laughed and listened to her cub's congratulations and praise, yawning, lowering her head to the soft, slightly damp grass. She could hear their voice get slower as they became more and more tired, gaining that dreamy, far away quality that only those truly tired could have, and it had its effect on her. She smiled, her crystal eye gleaming in the calm light of Cetus, then closed them.

A perfect end to a perfect day with her perfect cub tucked right next to her. With that, she slipped away to sleep herself, happy and content.
