Mordecai had barely managed to open his mouth when a hiss caught his attention; but Henry was the first one to lift his head and look at the newcomer - and to his brother's surprise, Henry did not call out for the second (technically third?) snake.

Both heads were now staring at the anaconda in silence. One, Mordecai, didn't move - he had frozen. Not in fear, but out of worry. The other, Henry, trembled ever so slightly. Out of fear. Mordecai slowly turned his head again to peer at Tikal with the slightest of frowns crossing the head's lips.

Henry simply stared with huge eyes.

"I don't suppose you know this one?" the gruff voice said eventually.

Tikal continued to lay in his coils until another snake came up. He raised his head slightly and took a deep breath. He didn't know this snake, after all, he had not long been born. He looked around a little before looking at the snake.

"I don't know this snake. Who are you?"

He tilted his head slightly at Midas then looked slithered towards an old building. He was still curious about these things. He wanted to know more about then, he was curious. He slithered around one, studying it closely, after he made a full circle he stopped. He stared at it for a moment and took a deep breath.

The buildings are, as one would expect, old and dilapidated from eons of stagnancy. They appear rudimentary in their design, most of them comprised of square or rectangular foundations, some of them separated by one or two walls into different rooms. A good many of the buildings are crumbling from the wear of time, but some are intact; some have roofs of dusty stone, others of withered fabrics that stretch from one wall to the other. Square windows are set into the brick that lack any presence of a frame - just empty holes. Many of the buildings have the belonging of their previous occupants left behind; crudely crafted clay jars, thatch baskets of dry reed, all covered in a thick layer of dust. In some of the furthest reaches of the room, footprints remain preserved in the grime, though their origins are indiscernible - they are, with certainty, inhuman.
