TENNESSEE
"Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play"

The lemur sat up and dusted himself off, fixing his his hat and finally standing up again. Now it would be an even bigger bruise but that was fine. "That's plan, friend! Well that an' they can be used as meat too... but only if'n I can get my hands on'em. I gotta get one t'ride so I can get a herd 'a others! When I get it all sorted out it'll be a right good operation I can tell ya that much!" His voice was absolutely excited as he explained what he wanted to do.

At the wolf's less than kind words Tennessee didn't get horribly angry or even annoyed... in fact, he laughed. He found it funny that he was thought of as a strange rat. "A strange rat? That's a good'un! P'raps I've been 'angin' around Daisy too long! Speakin' of! Daisy-girl! Get on over here! Stop hasslin' that young man for 'is food!" The Red Rat gave an irritated murmur before getting up and going to sit at Tennessee's side.

His attention then turned to the bear, a bright smile on his face. "Well, I thank ya kindly for th'compliment." He reached up and touched the brim of his hat respectfully in acknowledgement of the bear's words. "An' anyone that wants t'collaborate with me would be most welcome! I reckon it'll be a lotta hard work though," He reached out with a paw to indicate the scorched, barren land. "But it'll be worth it. Imagine! This place set up with vegetation an' all sorts of deer! The Tunnel Runners, Jungle Deer, some Woolly Deer, maybe even some Marsh Striders... Just gotta find'em an' bring'em here along with some dirt an' all that stuff... But I'm gettin' ahead a' myself." He reached down and pet the top of Daisy's head with a paw. "Name's Tennessee, friends. Could I be as bold as t'ask yer names?"

The bear's response to his words was not the first guess at what he would receive for an answer. The big brown thing thought he was cute. He gave a long side glance towards the bear, just as the bear seemed to do to him, and finally he stiffled a dark chuckle. Perhaps he was only a teddy bear and not one of those vicious bears. Then he had to go and tell the lemur that there were possibly others that would be interested in deer riding. Great, more annoyances to be had in this part of the cave. Damian gave an exagerated roll of his eyes at the bear before turning his attention back towards the lemur when he called the rat away from him. For a moment his gaze fell to the nearly consumed deer he had picked off while Tennessee was busy riding on the buck. With a frown he shoved the rest away from him and set to licking his fingers clean from the blood that had gathered on them from tearing into the creature.

As Tennessee began going on about his hopes and aspirations of what he wanted to do with all the cave deer, Damian's eyes shot up and he stared long and hard at the lemur. A sinster grin shadowed over his features at that as his eyes gleamed with sudden interest. 'Yes, make my life easier by herding fodder for me...' Damian thought to himself as his grin grew just a bit more. That would save him from moving to Eridanus all the time just to find a big enough Cave deer to sate his hunger. If they were all gathered in on spot, with different types to choose from, then Damian would have a snack on hand whenever he felt like sneaking a couple of them away.

Damian swiveled his ears forward when the Lemur finally gave out his name before requesting his own. He waited a moment to glance at the bear to see if he would speak up first since he thought Tennessee was so cute, before shrugging it off and turning his gaze back towards the small creature "Name's Damian. If you must know it," He drawled out in a rather bored tone. His wings fluttered for a moment as he had a sudden itch just near the base of it, but it was ignored as he knew he could not quite reach the spot and he wasn't about to go itching at it by rubbing his back on the spire in front of them. "What about you tough guy," He lifted a single brow at the bear as he turned half way in his position just to be able to fully face the bear. "And I swear if you blurt out Teddy... I am so leaving," Damian eyed the bear as if he were contemplating on where he would go if he did hear that name. His gaze lingered over the bear, studying the gem upon his shoulder and for a moment his pawed hand reached up to fiddle with the seraphinite that hung around his neck. A deep rumble escaped the beast as he began to ponder to himself. Outside of his name possibly being Teddy, the bear looked fit enough. Strong and perhaps even a worthy challenge. So...just maybe...

His thoughts trailed and he now set a strange grin towards the bear and simply waited for his response.

Leon fell quiet and nodded, listening. The lemur certainly had big plans, and Leon half wondered what it would look like by the end of all the work he intended to do. He could only imagine keeping a whole bunch of cave deer together, it probably would be difficult - he wondered if the different types ever clashed with one another - how would he keep them from running away? Building a fence? And how would he defend them against the golems? The golems were certainly a matter of concern, though they didn't seem to be bothering them here in Polaris at the moment. Maybe the destruction caused by Raheerah had sent them off for the moment. In the midst of that thought, Leon broke his gaze away to examine the surrounding cave area, but his assumption was confirmed when he in fact found no golems churning towards them. Good - he wasn't in the mood to deal with brainless rocks at the moment.

His attention snapped back to the winged werewolf. Damian, he said. If you must know. Well, it wasn't like Leon was really harping for his name, but it did help to have something to refer to him by other than winged werewolf, that was a little wordy - a little much to pronounce. His brows arched as he turned his focus to Leon, asking for a name too. Teddy. He laughed and scratched his cheek, but for some reason the name Teddy just didn't resonate with him. It was too... soft... and kinda lame. "Leon." He answered with a smile.

Now that he had that established... well, Leon figured he probably shouldn't be spending much more time dicking around here. He was supposed to be on patrol after all, and now he was itching to go back to Pisces and tell somebody about this ranch dealio. Maybe somebody would be interested - he couldn't help but feel that Quintus seemed a little restless. Maybe the youth needed something to pass the time. A distraction. After all, there was so much patrolling of the caves that one could do. "Well, its certainly nice to meet the both of you," He paused and shot an uncertain glance at Damian then focused on Tennessee again. "but I've duties to tend. Ah... careful with those deer, eh?" Leon laughed and rose, waving himself off with a paw. The bear turned, though from his periphery he watched the other two - curious - until he had made his way back to the tunnel entrance. What an odd duo.

Exit Leon @Tennessee
