Macawi nodded as her friend rose to his massive paws. She glanced around one last time, wondering exactly what was locked away in the Dragon’s head. She’d have to proceed carefully when it came to asking him questions about anything. One never knew what might trigger another reaction like the one he’d just had. She hummed as she thought about things, eyebrows scrunched. “Macawi and Dragon will have to work this out, whatever it is. Coyote can help you, if you want. She knows you cannot talk very well, but clearly Dragon has a lot to say, and practicing talking might help the memories flow.”

She padded past him, brushing herself gently against one furry leg. “Keep that pebble Macawi gave you, friend. It may come in handy if you ever face those Bad memories again. To remind you to stay Grounded. Yes? Good.” She flashed her gem at him in a wink, head turning to the side to show its rainbow colors, and then trotted forward, towards the exit tunnel.
