The dragon stood before the canine, his head lowered and eye shining with a combination of confusion and pain. The other creature stepped forward and grabbed him but not in a rough way and not in a way that panicked him... No, it was a sort of embrace. The dragon fell into the hold, allowing Kerberos to lick his tongues over his face. Being licked by someone like this... It reminded him of the affection his daughter and his friends sometimes showed him but no one was as large as the hellhound and were unable to hold him in such a way. It felt nice.

The words cut into his heart. He didn't want to upset the canine but he didn't want to hurt himself either. He was caught in a rock and a hard place. "Sorry..." He said quietly, it was all he could think to say and all he could manage with his mouth. What was he to say anyway? He didn't know what to do to get his memories back and stop them from flooding him. Macawi had given him a sort of remedy but it didn't bring everything back.

The dragon lifted his head slightly so he could lick at Kerberos' chin, all of them. His mouth moved for a moment before more words came out. "Help... help... Dragon.... no... no forget..." Could the three-headed canine help him as Macawi had? Was there some secret that he knew?
