"Eat me? Why would it wanna do that?" Todd shrugged. In his mind, hunting was one big game, and no-one would ever want to hunt him. He didn't understand pain or death, and it showed in his ignorant attitude.


"Xerxes, Xerxes... that's you, right? What a funny thing to say. Xerxes. Xeeeeeeeerxes. It's hard." He creased his brow and nodded each time he said it.

As Xerxes told him to come, Todd hopped around on his paws before darting in between the lion's tall legs, since he was already in front of them. Was that what he meant? It was warm under here, and he looked up to see fur, fur, and more fur. "I hope it asks to play," Todd droned, nodding a little.

He looked around again. "Hey, where did your face go?"
