Cold and looking closer to a drowned rat than anything of the feline sort, Nassir whimpered softly. Shoulders sunken in and face twisted into some indecipherable emotion, the leopard retched. A stream of water dripped from his lips along with some bile. How are my insides still there, he wondered as he buried his claws into the ice and dry-heaved. His throat was sore from all of the bile and stomach acid that he had spit up; it left him gasping for air, as well.

A lot of things seemed to leave him gasping for air, now.

Nassir's gaze, blurred from forming cataracts and the water he was still blinking away, pierced Tenzin's. The enormous bird had taken a while to speak, peering into the quartz and offering what the leopard hoped to be a solution. There were two, here, though the former was rather undesirable. Exist now, or reform. Claws still embedded into the icy sheet, the black gembound sank down to his elbows — he was tired, and oh-so-sick. His head was spinning, unable to properly comprehend anything. Jaws cracked open, trying desperately to get oxygen into his broken little lungs, Nassir whirled about toward his friend. The leopard panted softly as he listened, black creeping in on his vision.

Oliver would watch over him, and... perhaps Tenzin would, too. Foggy eyes moved to and fro, considering in his dazed state. What else can I do, than just suffer and— and die? A beat. Nassir took a steadying breath and nodded simply.

Shakily — because he was cold and a little scared — he murmured preemptively, repeating after the crow-dog, "th-thank you."
