QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
Bone leaned into her brother, for a moment, as his wing raised to embrace her. And when he retreated, she raised one of hers--she didn't need to lean on it, after all--to drape it over him, in turn. A glance at him, and then her attention was back on Pride, though her wing lingered on Svartis.
"And if we need to find you? Where will you be?" she asked.
She was too ignorant of how planning, interaction, and danger all worked to really know if she was missing anything--or even to wonder that, in the first place.
"I'll be in Orion, for the most part--near the Throne. Thank you for your time. Try-... to make sure that the meeting isn't attacked. Good faith, and all that."
He eyed them both, a little worriedly, and then bowed his head with a sweep of his long-tined antlers.
"We'll do our best to ensure everyone's safety. Until then, be well."
He waited a beat, for any farewells--and to be sure that no one had anything else to say, or ask--before turning and departing, back the way he'd come.
Ah, wing over him was much better. He could support the leaning weight of Bone far better like this. Svartis aimed a harsh brotherly nudge at her shoulder; sort of like a casual punch on the shoulder.
Pride'd be in Orion, and he was off. Manners kicked in, and he barked a quick, "goodbye" at his departing form before waiting the awkwardly long time it took for the stag to get out of earshot (which Svartis thought was when he was long gone) to speak.
"They... want everyone's stones?" he murmured worriedly to Bone, icy eyes darting, "nobody's safe." The dragons could protect themselves but - Caves, could everyone else protect themselves? Would everyone else turn on them?
Bone barely nodded a farewell to Pride, her expression distant. "Pensive" was not her normal mode, especially with family, and when Svartis jostled her she blinked and looked to him as if she'd briefly forgotten where she was.
"-Yeah," she agreed, a bit distractedly, and then blinked again, her expression returning to 'now.' "Svartis, if what he's showing me is true-... That bastard thing that attacked you, it had no excuse. But-..."
She trailed off. Shook her head.
"Maybe we can fight that thing. What he showed me. It was magic, I think, not a fighter. Maybe we can fight it. But I'm not sure how." She looked distant. She didn't know how the thing had controlled the dragon, in the vision. She was unaware of the blackmail involved. Of the depth of emotion, though she'd certainly sensed some of it in the pained nature of Raheerah's initial bellowing.
It bothered her, though, and she didn't quite yet know what to think.
The white dragon exhaled, a little harshly. "Can we--get something to eat? Before we talk to Dad. I need to rest my mind from this."

MAGICKA LEVEL 100% RESTORED TO 100%
He had no idea how mind-magic worked, but certainly it couldn't... lie? It seemed real enough, what with Bone's spacing-out and general... disturbedness. Svartis frowned slightly, but nodded, "we can suggest it in the meeting? If there's a lot of us fighting... we'd have to win." It was brutish, and childishly hopeful.
Food sounded good right about now, and he moved carefully from beneath his sister's wing. A weak smile twisted his reptilian snout, and he nodded, "hopefully not too quick of a bite." Humorous, hopefully. Svartis let her take a good long pause before roaring for "BUUUG!" (she wasn't getting off watch-cat duty that easy!) and taking off.
Bone turned, sighing a little, nodding and offering a brief, half-sad smile to her brother. All of this--the pressure and the worry--was something she'd never had to deal with, either.
It was a day of unfortunate firsts.
He took wing smoothly, and she in turn lumbered after him, leaping and laboriously going airborne. White wings thumped at the air, and she followed Svartis to the hunt, hoping... hoping that this would all end up okay.
