The hatchling's wings flapped wildly as it opened its beak, nearly falling over as it wiggled and wobbled, managing to miss the piece of meat before snatching it up in his beak and snapping it down ravenously. The next he grabbed quicker, face scrunching unpleasantly as he scarfed down what he could. Squeaking insistently, he begged for more, his tiny chicken wings flapping wildly before he registered the boop on his beak.

Stilling, he turned his head towards Avi, almost as if in betrayal, before flapping his wings and toppling forward with a squawk, nibbling at one of her toes. Payback, aha!!

Now that that had been achieved, he pushed himself up, having managed to get all turned around as he waved his head in the air, demanding he be fed more! He was hungry! Play and teasing could come once he was full!

This naked little hatching sure was a squirmy one. At least she was still able to get the goo off of it. The jaguar giggled softly when it flopped onto her face.

A surprise then came into this poor excuse for a nursery, and Kaimana was quite frankly stunned by its proportions. Strange limbs, strange eyes, very poofy-- cute, though, in a strange way. Kaimana blinked her surprise away once the creature spoke. It seemed to be a child! It certainly acted like one. There was likely nothing to fear here, so Kaimana would hold in her knee-jerk reaction when the tip of one of those scythe-like appendages came towards the hatchling's face. 'Boop!' An even-toned "Hello," is all the young jaguar would manage to respond with.

Soon returned the stranger, with food! Kaimana could smell it. Wonderful! And this stranger... was the child's parent? Huh. Wild. They called the booper a 'nugget', and suddenly Kaimana was reminded of that meat nugget that Glaive had tricked into thinking she was fish. Wow, no, this child was not like that at all. Not a nugget! Just a sweet one. "Oh, they gave no heckling. Just a 'boop' for this hatchling." Kaimana smiled.

The hatchling snarfed the food down with impressive vigor. Then it went to batting at the booper! "Oh." Kaimana resisted the urge to stop them -- honestly, the hatchling was probably far too little to do any actual harm. For now, it was just child's play, which Kaimana could appreciate. "Two energetic children. Are you able to take the hatchling?" Kaimana wanted to make sure the stranger had the resources for two whole kids! If not, she figured she could take the hatchling to the Seven. They might be able to find a home for it there.
