The vision subsided, the puddle rippling back to a clear surface. For the first time that day Binh let himself rest. That was a bit draining, but useful. Voidmother was safe. He could rest his racing heart.

The kooru bounded forth once more after Tema asked about their leader, seeming to understand vaguely with it's minute sentience. It pranced away to where she last was-- Carja swept through the bog with passion, Tema shortly behind her. The Voidseer tried to follow, but his energy was especially drained this day, moreso by the frantic casts of magic, and he didn't have the strength to catch up with his less top-heavy companions. Unless someone were to pick him up and carry him again, the cobra wasn't going anywhere.

"I wiiilll ssstaay heeere," Voidseer hissed from behind the charge. "Maaaaybe Voooidmoother will cooome baaack." Internally he was forming a plan of what he'd do if she didn't but for now... he just had to trust the others will find her.
