Aran knew of the deal Tahi seemed to have with the Collector, yes, and it seemed it was true based on that question alone. Aran wouldn't have thought it was a trade with the Collector until he mentioned Tahi's name specifically. But it didn't matter much, anyway. Since Aran was here for a trade, too.

"Tahi told me he needed a body for something, not for what. I dont really care anyway though." The deer gruffed out. He'd be a hypocrite if it really bothered him. "He seems to soft to ever kill anyone." And that was the end of that topic before it moved to a different one. The scrolls came up next, and since the Collector didn't want them, Aran did find a way to put that bag back atop one of his antlers. He would be keeping them, then. Which was good - the deer didn't want to give them up.

"A few know of some of the information already." he voiced, but Aran would keep those statements in mind.

Aran did remember where he got the photo from, but the memory was a bit blurry from it being what felt like so long ago. he did remember finding other gemound there, and the ring around one of his antlers also came from that place. But had anyone important been there.... He couldn't recall.

"I found it when there was a lot of gemound in one place, looking for things. I can't remember who all was there, though." Aran said with a pause. "I can't seem to figure out what it is, or what it's showing me." But that was something to discover at a different time, he supposed, for now, they had a deal to get to.

The Collector being there to help the Gemounds in the caves did take the remainder of his worries away, though. Even if the Colletor seemed shady, if that was the case... Well Aran couldn't question his methods. It seemed like it was the gembounds responsibility to agree or disagree, from their conversation anyway.

"You want me to bring you a live lesser?" That seemed to be the case - Aran had ways of getting one, anyway. "Yes, we have a deal."

'He seems too soft to ever kill anyone.' Those words sent a delighted chill up the Collector's spine.

"Is he-? Well, I had not demanded a kill; merely the remains of a death. But we shall see; he did attempt to back out of that deal once already." A pause, then: the tap of claw on cloth, light and wisping. "I do not like it when others try to back out of deals. As you can well imagine, Aran Alabaster, I have better things to do with my time." A low and sinister purr was in his voice at the memory, but it vanished into joyful cheerfulness as he went on. "In any case! I shall need its eyes, so yes. Choose one whose eyes you like the look of--well, that you liked the look of, I suppose. And you may need help, of course. But I shall be using its eye to help you see again, so one fresh, or near to fresh, is necessary."

A shrug, a nod, a wave: "See you soon."
