Kitty placed both paws on the other rock this time, and stared down at it intensely. "Last thing. Then I'll stop it! No more magic for today," she said firmly, having no idea that her ability to see into the past was, in fact, magic. She closed her eyes and focused on the buzzing of Polaris, concentrating on the stone under her paws, and distantly wishing that she had a tree to hide in.

When she opened her eyes again, she found another glowing rock. It wasn't as bright as its twin, but she could deal with that, and set it gently on the other end before finally settling herself down in front of the shop, humming contentedly. Finally! Now, she could get to work.

First, though... she was going to take a little bit of a nap.
