Arwen softened a bit and nodded, "I know them, they're my fellows. And I was there, yes."

She of course recognized Kitty from multiple occasions. The honey prank in Pegasus and the booth in Polaris.

"They and I live here with some others," she said, "We are a little group, people who are... different, in both body and mind, who don't particularly fit in with regular crowds."

She peered down at Aran and cocked her head, "What do I eat? Many things! Nectar, fruit, roots, meat. Anything that I can catch and chew up, really."

She tapped her cheek and hummed, "But since my diet is so diverse, I can cater to yours much easier. I assume you eat grasses? Your teeth are flat and aren't very good at tearing meat and such, but what about you, Kitty?"

Arwen knew what Aran ate from the molar she had on her necklace, pulled straight from Tahi-shei's own mouth. Though all the teeth were carved, making them no longer resemble what they were. One could mistake them for bone or even white wood, hence why she was comfortable wearing the lovely piece of jewelry even now. It was a comfort to have little reminders of her loyal friends.

There were more of them? That certainly got the Barasignha curious - did they all look like a mash of bug and... Other stuff? Kitty already met them it sounded like, so she must have run into the whole group before based on the way her question was asked. It was nice that 'Bumble' found a group to be with, though. He could agree to that.

Being different wasn't really a bad thing, and Aran at least understood why 'Bumble' and the others wanted to group together with some that they could get along with. Kitty seemed okay with the presence of the other gembound too, so Aran let himself be less wary about it. Even with the mention of eating meat, the gembound didn't seem too keen on munching on his body for sustenance.

"I eat plants, yes." He replied, and then turned to gaze at Kitty to find her answer.

Kitty wedged the bark between the piece of amber and the ground, angling it so that she could use her weight and the stone's strength against it in order to hack at it and hopefully get it off. The place at which it was connected wasn't very thick, so hopefully it wouldn't take much. Unfortunately, she didn't much get anywhere.

"... I eat just about anything I can fit in my mouth," Kitty finally said, looking up from what she'd been doing. "Small birds and mice and stuff, mosses and smaller plants -- that sort of thing." Kitty nodded. "I'd be fine with grass and berries if that's what you prepared."

"I'll ensure that there's a variety of things readily available," 'Bumble' said, "For both of you. I'll collect sweet grass from Pegasus and some fruit and meats for you and I, Kitty."

She rubbed her hands together and giggled to herself softly, "Oh this will be so much fun!"

The bee made her way towards the edge of the trees again and peered back at the two, "Come back later, I'll have everything ready when you return. I wish you luck with that stone."

Arwen disappeared into the trees despite being an 11 foot tall bumble bee woman, making off to her hidden den beyond the brambles.

Aran blinked, 'Bumble' was being so nice to them despite the two not really doing anything for her. He supposed he could show up for the meal, it wasn't like the gembound did anything wrong. It was a little too late to refuse anyway. Not that he would have, because he definitely wouldn't.

"Okay." he responded to the request for the two to come back later.

He turned to kitty after 'Bumble' left. Hopefully the thing she gave them would work. The deer had other ideas but this would be the easiest - unless they broke a stick off of one of the trees to push under it? he'd bring that up later if this didn't work.
