Titanite gave Shango a shake of his bearded head, a 'no,' he had not seen this... 'alf.' Past that he did not comment, instead turning his attention to Marrow's words.
He appeared to be lethargic as he listened, blinking slowly, but really he was just giving her words slow and careful attention. Making mental notes, even. The bones... the magic... good companions. She is considered... strange.
"Strange..." he wheezed in echo, wondering why. She did not seem all that strange to him; she seemed, in fact, very like most of the warm, fast creatures that darted half-forgotten through the Titanite's days.
The rest coalesced only slowly into summary, each of her smaller statements part of a greater whole that swelled like a bubble in his mind before popping. "You were... lonely," he agreed, at last, and gave a low hum of thought.
The plants rising up to shield him did not go unnoticed, and he let out a short bark of air, a sort of little laugh of delighted humor. The irony pleased him, and he reached up, delicately prodding a leaf and causing a tiny cascade of droplets to scatter before him. "This is... good magic," he mused, and looked back at Marrow with eyes a little brighter than before.
"Stay-... yesss," he rasped; "We will be... family."
