She braced herself to block the coming attack, knowing all too well what it meant when an Azhdar reared it's head- but none came. That meant it was her chance to end it. Before she could strike, the dinosaur had fallen out of her reach towards the forest below. Arquia was confused for a moment, before realizing it must've been her venom kicking in. This was her chance. It was weak. Easy to end.

But then she caught sight of the other dinosaur, the one that had answered the call of the first. It was not here to attack her, it was here on a rescue mission to save the original Azhdar, the one who she had injured quite badly. Arquia was hit by a sense of pity- perhaps even guilt. It reminded her of the deinocornus, and she had promised not to do such a thing again. And now what was she doing?

It didn't feel right to just leave like that. She wanted to see if it would be alright at least. Even though she was trying to kill it earlier. Gah, emotions were so confusing. Angling her wings into a glide, she followed after the two dinosaurs at a distance that kept them within her gaze. However, she was careful not to stay too close. In case both of them would come after her. Well, maybe only the second.

There was a plume of wet dust rising from below, from where the first Azhdar had landed heavily on the bare patch of meadow (the mere blip of flat land among the thicker jungle). The second shrieked directly at Arquia as it came, but quickly appeared to lose sight of her as it dropped lower into the trees--she blended in too well for it to track from a distance.

Instead it landed near the first, which was flailing as it attempted to come upright.

It waddled forward, and for a moment they snapped lightly at one another, the second tilting its head as it examined the injuries smearing blood across the face of the first. Head tipped skyward, watching for Arquia's return as it shuffled around its wounded comrade, or mate, their combined shrieks rattling the leaves of the forest. The first was soon upright, but its wing loose to one side, still numb and likely taking a few moments to recover.

It seemed the Azhdar was alright. She wasn't sure if the landing would give it any permanent injuries, but at least it was alive. It felt strange to be the one circling above now, watching the doings of the two dinosaurs. She didn't want to linger too long, there were other things she had to get to. Not to mention, the longer she stayed, the more she felt inclined to- yeah she should leave. Crazy thoughts were starting to invade her head. Arquia turned and left, shrieks echoing her head long after.
