Sky thoroughly pondered the question. They looked around the cave, although nothing really sparked interest in them. They turned back to Splashy, shrugging a little. "I don't know," they mumbled, admiring the other feline in the back of their mind. "Whatever you want to do, I suppose. Or we could just.. lay down and rest up a bit?"

Splashy looked at Sky as they spoke. She found her eyes drifting to Sky's, the pretty blue color. She blinked when she heard Sky speak again. And looked around, seeing what all there was. There wasn't really much else. Nothing that seemed interesting, anyway. "Laying down and resting up seems like a good idea to me," she chuckled.

Sky looked into Splashy's eyes for a moment. They took into account that they were blueish-green, but one eye was slightly more blue. They nodded as the gray cat responded to their question. They spun around a few times before getting comfortable, as they had learned to do from.. somewhere. Their ears flattened, trying to block out the fact that they couldn't remember anything. Their tail curled so that it rested upon their muzzle gently.

Splashy smiled slightly as she saw Sky spin around a couple of times before settling down. She herself begin to spin a couple of times before laying down as well, pressed slightly up against Sky. Not enough that it was too invading, but enough that you could tell. She rested her head on one of her paws. She was positioned in such a way that she could easily looked over at Sky if she wanted to.

Sky purred quietly when they felt the sensation of Splashy pressing herself up against them. They exhaled softly, scooting ever so slightly closer to the other feline. They closed their eyes, letting the image of Splashy they had imprinted in their mind lull them into sleep.

Splashy began to purr as well when she heard Sky purring next to her. She could feel them scooting ever so closer and found herself leaning in more. Sky was warm, and she felt content pressed up against her. With the feeling of Sky and their warmth pressed up against her, Splashy began to fall asleep as well, her purr slowly growing louder.

Hours later, Sky had woken up. They were unsure of whether Splashy had woken up or not, as they couldn't see her from the position they were in, so they didn't dare move. They waited patiently for their friend to awaken, perhaps so they could explore more of the cave that Sky had forgotten so much about. They wondered how Splashy felt about them having no memory. They certainly hoped they hadn't hurt her feelings, although they couldn't imagine it wouldn't.

Some hours later, Splashy woke up. She looked over at Sky out of the corner of her eyes and saw that they were awake. She shifted a bit and yawned, looking over at Sky. "Did I keep you waiting for long?" She hoped she hadn't. It must have been boring waiting for her to wake up. She yawned again and looked around. "Shall we continue exploring?" She began to slowly get up.

Sky carefully sat up when they felt Splashy move beside them, yawning as they did so. "No, I just woke up," they said, their voice cracking with tiredness. They nuzzled her cheek affectionately, trying to reassure her that it was ok they had to wait. "I would rather wait than wake you up." At the question, they nodded. "I suppose so."

Splashy smiled when she felt Sky's voice crack slightly. She gave a soft purr when they nuzzled her cheek. "Well...t-thank you," she chuckled. She got up fully and stretched. "Shall we go then? Is there anywhere in particular that you want to explore? Or...should we just w-walk until we come across something interesting?"
