Pride's offer was tempting-- her limbs ached and her eyelids were going heavy, but she couldn't go back to Monoceros asleep on Pride's back. "No," she said, brow crinkling. "No, uh, I think it would scare Azure a lot."

She might attack Pride, which would make everything worse, too. Serendipity tried to shake this thought off.

"And, uh, no thank you on the cleaning thing either. I wanna choose a place with Azure that we can fix up ourselves and stuff? So it feels like it's ours and we're happy with it," she continued on, shrugging her shoulders loosely. "But, uhh, I'll be back for training and stuff. I wanna be a guardian."

For a moment Serendipity watched Pride, before she turned to wander back down the pathway. "Stay safe," she said, as she hobbled out of sight.

Pride inclined his head, then nodded once. Despite Siren's youth, she was strong, he noted. And wise beyond her age. If she did join the Seven, she might turn out to be a useful asset. And a good ally; he was not all that cold.

"Very well," was all he said, though it was warmly, and approvingly. "If I am not here upon your return, I do pass by daily, so the wait should not be more than half a day. Safe journey."

He watched her go, quietly thoughtful, motionless in the shadow of the Throne.
