we never found the straight way back

Fisher's eyes alighted on the piece of selenite and morganite-- pale moonlight and pale sunlight, and he wriggled forward until his chin settled upon Attikias's knee. He reached a dexterous paw up to take both of the stones, and a small spark fired off of his stone and trickled across his dark fur like a static shock.

"We'll have to find a place for them to grow--" He began, eyes wide as the electricity flowed into the stones in his paws (he had given his own stone when he had created Ashtoreth, and that had been an accident), in complete awe as the two gems in his paw pad felt suddenly warm. He couldn't wait. "If there's a place where you sleep, Atty, that'd be a good place to keep 'em. Somewhere you can keep an eye on them." He'd offer to take them, but he moved around so often... Last thing he wanted to do was have the babies hatch with no one around.

Fisher reached up, gently handing the stones back to the humanoid, eyes gleaming as he melted back down on to the floor, rolling on to his back. "But yeah! It's that easy, just... put a lil' bit of love into 'em..." His words started to drift off, as though giving the tiny spark to the two small stones had been enough to knock out the mustelid.

In truth, the fruit juice was a bit too dank for him.

The goose's head was spinning now, the fermented fruits beginning to take their real effect. She was warm - happy, content with everything happening and, as they shared life and stone, she as well willed a piece of her gemstone to fall and it did just so - a sliver of dumortierite clinking to the ground. She looked over and leaned down, picking it up in her beak and trying to also hand it to Attikias, as he was the closest one, but dropped it in the grass instead, her vision growing into double.

"Ahh....yeah y' can havuh...mine too if weall are sharing..." Her words slurred together, but she looked nothing but glad to be so out of it, smiling up at her friend and at the gemstone shimmering with life. She was quiet for a moment before trying to pull herself to cognizance for a moment to whisper out something that brimmed with emotion, something unlike her glimmering in her eyes. "I would love to have children. To raise them. I don't think anything would bring me more happiness."

But then the alcohol consumed her as well and her eyes drifted shut as she let out a loud, uncharacteristic snore.

A place to grow... He hummed at the thought, laughing at the impromptu nickname bestowed upon him. "Good thing I don't really move." Well, except for now, where he gathered up the magicked stones, and- hm? The goose had spoken, and he slowly drifted his attention to her, too.

A flash of life shot behind his droopy eyes and he moved to catch the gem before it plonked to the ground- a second too late. He gave a soft 'hm' and instead bent down, taking it in his hand too and giving it magic as well in drowsiness.

The others were asleep. A warm smile graced his face as he stood, stepping aside to just outside the camp grounds to lay the stones in the dirt.

Some were already growing, and he felt warm at their sight. His children... HIS children. He giggled to the idea before returning to the people and sitting down, tending the fire while he watched over their sleeping forms.

Eventually, he, too, would fall asleep alongside them.
