Marshmallow was not good at reading tones of voice, so she passed right over the lion's. "Rock! Rock!" she continued squeaking, continuing to jump up and down. Somnus did not seem to be getting her signal that she wanted to go to rock. She waved her wing wildly in all directions, as if that would be helpful in directing the lion to a rock.

If that didn't work, she looked at Aerie too, and continued her chants of "Rock!".

Aerie floated there idly, watching the two. She grasped her tail in her talons as they continued without her, ears pinning.

"... Well, you clearly don't need my help,", she said, "So... bye. Have fun I guess."

She turned her back on the bat and flew away, her feelings a little hurt. That's what she got for trying to help. It didn't help that the lion was so... aggressive. Ugh.

Somnus was having a hard time even figuring out if there was a specific rock this one wanted to go to, but he really was about to drop the puffball. One word wasn't enough - it didn't make enough sense. Maybe he could just drop her off onto a pebble. Those were rocks, right?

Turning his head to the floaty thing, he did catch what that one was saying.

"Goodbye."

They seemed angry, but it wasn't Somnus' problem.

"You need to use more words than that." The cub growled out, alebit not very scary.

The blue floaty thing left, and the lion still wasn't moving. At this point, Marshmallow realized that she wasn't going to get anywhere, no matter how much she jumped and flapped her wings. The small bat leaped off his head, and landed in the grass. From there, she crawled away.

"Exit Marshmallow to go find a rock herself"

Somnus could feel the small thing hop off of his head, and he held a silent thank you to the beings above for that. Maybe it would tell Somnus what it actually wanted rather than jumping around and screaming about it. 'Rock' wasn't a place, it was a thing. It made no sense. Instead, though, the small thing just crawled.... ever so slowly away. It would take ages for her to get anywhere and Somnus thought that to be absolutely hilarious.

"Good riddance." He growled to himself as he moved to groom the rest of the liquid off of his body.
