Attikias was relieved to see that she was okay, sitting up and talking. "You certainly did," he echoed, nodding. The clasp of her hand in his was assuring. He dipped back at her weight when she leaned on him, that worry flaring up. Had she exhausted herself? He opened his mouth to suggest what she just said. "Of course. You can stay any time."
He reached to support her, but she seemed to be walking just fine on her own. Instead, he just followed behind her, ready to catch her if she was too tired. He'd make sure to have a good meal for her when she woke up. Resting here would let him watch her wounds too, just in case.
He huffed out a single-note laugh at Pollen's words. "I will." They kept on, walking home, and Attikias made sure to keep her comfortable in the nest of pelts, going about and making the house ready for her to wake up nicely in.
It's the least he could do for an... acquaintance.
