Eleven nodded along. "He wouldn't send you to kill something you couldn't. That be stupid. And he isn't that stupid." It should be noted that she had not had a single unpleasant experience with Vargas yet, or even one that was particularly notable. She just decided that the Master sucked ass - mostly on her own.
"You SHOULD practice. As soon as possible. I think you're supposed to like... Do it with your mind?" But Eleven knew her brain couldn't do that, and Gravedigger was probably the same. "But in the mean time you can do it with the usual stuff. You could like..."
Eleven tried to mime the process with a raised fore-limb, still puzzling it out. "Grab their like... Ass through their mouth, or something. Or split them open and peel..." She wasn't planning on trying any of this out, for the record. She was just fascinated by the theoretical.

All your dreams are down below the gravedigger
Gravedigger nodded, completely oblivious to the backhanded compliment. "No, he's not. I trust him." Trust. What a big thing for someone so young, and for someone so doomed, yet Gravedigger had yet to find a reason not to trust the Master. He'd yet to even step far enough out of the Forge's domain to see the rest of the caves that he called home now, but would not for very much longer.
If the Gravedigger had been created with proper moveable eyebrows, they would be furrowed in thought. "With my...mind?" Uh, that wasn't something he'd been trained in. To be honest, he'd really been getting the impression that his whole purpose was "turn the brain off and destroy" or something like that. At least, with corruption bubbling and burning at the back of his head at all times, threatening to overwhelm at any time, he didn't really see how trying to use his mind would be useful if it would just be handed over to Chaos.
"I'll probably try....yeah, as you said. It doesn't seem practical. Although it might be terrifying to see. Intimidation factor, you know." He tried to imagine it, him in front of shapeless onlookers, pulling the guts of some poor unwitting creature right out their mouth, to the terror of those below and around. It was such a vivid image that he wondered if he'd seen it before. In the nightmares that relentlessly plagued him, maybe? It made him feel weird, like something hot was threatening to flood through his veins. Or maybe it was already.
He blinked and suddenly he went a little rigid, his head raise. "I should practice it. Yeah. Yeah where is Pegasus or whatever. I should try doing it. Do you wanna come?" It felt overwhelming all of a sudden, and he thought if he stood still for another moment longer he might erupt.

"Yeah, it seems more trouble than it's worth. Like, why not just bite it 'til it dies like normal? And eat it in one big piece." Which is what Eleven had been doing all her life, and what she planned on sticking to. There were other people far better at turning things inside out. She wouldn't tread on their territory.
"I guess it'd be scary. I'd be scared if I saw something fucked up like that." She still had a claw outstretched, and she flexed the talons, as if she was holding something squishy and pulsating. Maybe it'd feel different if there was a real, tangible organ in her palm - right now it felt like nothing at all, even as she tried to picture it.
"I can come with. I know the way." Could this be the meadow deer rematch she'd been looking for?

All your dreams are down below the gravedigger
The Gravedigger nodded, feeling something like a lump in his throat. He had never cried before, but this felt like what he imagined incoming tears to feel like. It was just an overwhelming sense to think so much about gore and violence and have half of him recoil at the thought and the other to lean in and crave it to be real. He swallowed heavily and grunted. "Yeah, let's," he paused, as his voice had come out as a low growl instead of its usual tenor. He cleared his throat. "Let's go, then."
He set off after Eleven, holding in control for now.
