Sky grinned at Splashy's stuttering, watching her stretch as they stood. "I guess we shall. I don't know if there's anywhere I particularly want to go, because.. you know. I think we should just explore for a while." They turned around, nodding towards a nearby tunnel. "That looks interesting," they mewed.

"Yeah, that seems nice." Splashy looked over to where Sky was motioning towards. "Ooo, y-yeah! That might lead us somewhere n-new. Some place...d-different." She blinked. The thought of something new...and different scared her, but she tried not to let it show. She could handle being somewhere new. Sure, she'd never traveled anywhere else. But it wasn't like she was going to be alone or anything. She begin to walk toward the tunnel. It was dark on the inside, and she took a deep breath before walking in.

Sky felt a certain nervousness in Splashy's voice, but they tried to avoid worrying about it. Whatever happened, the feline was determined to protect their friend in this dark system of caves. They watched Splashy carefully step into the gloomy cave, curious of what wonders awaited them. They followed, taking soft but shaky breaths. They pressed up against Splashy, unsure of whether it was for her reassurance or their own.

"Don't worry," they whispered. "I'll be holding on to you."
