Aegir waited while the bird deliberated and then nodded with agreement, becoming excited to see the room they would visit. "The ocean room it is! It is called...Fornax, Aegir believes. It is supposed to be warm as well. Come, then, we shall explore Fornax!"

He knew which tunnel would take them to this heat-room. He had been given directions some time ago by another wanderer and, as long as he found the tunnel, he would know how to get to the room.

Aegir turned and sniffed, trying to find the scent of the tunnel he was looking for it. Once he had caught the scent, he started off in that direction. "Fornax is this way, Aegir believes. If Heart-Song grows weary, we shall rest or they may ride on Aegir's back." He wouldn't mind the bird hopping up - from the looks of it, it wouldn't be anything of a burden.

He had always wanted to see the ocean room. So much water, he wondered how he would be able to see it all. Or perhaps he wouldn't. That might be the point.

Heart-Song broke into a smile. "Onwards!" they said, taking off and landing on Aegir's back. They doubted they would be able to keep up with the white bear otherwise, so off they rode. They broke into an upbeat song full of whistling and trilling as they left Polaris for different waters.

Literally, in this case.
