Scales flexing as she nuzzles into his hands, he makes sure to cup her face gently and keeps his cellophane wings and sharp grip claws out of her scales, and he tuts softly, bumping her forehead with his nose in affection before allowing her to pull away and paw at her own face.

At the poke, he rumbles in question as she talks about building a nest, and his skin between his scales slowly turns gold, and his fins slowly turn gold as well, his tail tip flick-flicking back and forth as she talks about leaving Stinkus-Cetus, sorry, and then he has to lower his ears and blink in confusion.

What's a horse?

"Of course we can explore again. I don't want to sleep that long ever again, to be honest. We can go see whatever that battle was you mentioned, and look for that stuff you mentioned, and maybe find things that actually smell good to add to the nest." he huffs, and he nuzzles under her jaw and grumbles, "You don't have to go exploring with strangers ever again."

At her humming, and the buzzing of her wings, he kind of chuckles quietly and nods, before saying out loud, "I'll help you make sure it's the best nest in the caves."

Haven gasped and squealed in joy, "YES!! I love exploring but I love it most when I'm with you!!"

She didn't exactly state it as a compliment, but more like an obvious fact. Exploring was more fun with Electrum, and his company was her favorite. So obviously, she loved hiking with Electrum the most, no offense to Warrior.

She took flight and giggled, flying around in a tight circle, floating up and over in a loop, "Come on- come on!! Let's go!! I want to explore the caves and I want to see if there's anything there to find!"

She flicked her tail and shot through the trees, hanging back to make sure Electrum was coming.

Hopefully, the facts of them preferring each other over anyone and anything else continue to define their relationship, because at the end of the cycle, that's what helps Electrum be secure in the fact that they belong to each other, and her statement makes him shake himself off with a shiver in glee.

Her enthusiasm is contagious, and he bounces once, twice before bouncing up and after her, launching with his hind legs and tail as he usually does to follow her up into the air, snapping his wings open and only pulling them closer to his body so that he doesn't clip Haven as he weaves past her, flicking her back with his long tailfin playfully before pulling ahead and gunning for the entrance of Cetus, side by side with Haven and feeling lighter than he had in a long time.

Good dreams aren't worth anything against his reality, not by a long shot.
