The little calf ignored everything around him, instead charging clumsily for the exit, on the heels of the hunters. His angered bleating was tempered by pants of weariness, the fury in his eyes by the rolling of their whites. Little hooves stumbled here and there.

He shoved and shouldered his way past anyone small enough to be moved by his two-hundred-or-so-pound baby frame, ignoring all attempts at politeness or order in favor of pushing his way rudely and chaotically ahead.

The clumsy stumbles of youth did nothing to slow him, his gangly legs driving cloven hooves into the dirt to push him farther ahead.

As soon as he'd escaped Draconua's chaos (and ensured his progeny's safety), the grey horse bolted, giving chase to the Hunt itself. He fled in thundering gallops toward the cave exit, struggling, gasping, to keep up.

Wisplight eyes were wide as he ran, fear of the crashing lightning and shattering earth driving him. He wasn't sure where they'd go, from here--but he feared not being at the head of the pack.

And there the quarry went! Sharp continued watching the spectacle from her little rain-proof shelter. It was surprisingly quiet-- you'd think all those beasts would make a great deal of noise, but the only thing she heard was the gentle rustle of leaves and raindrops. Oh, and the occasional far-off shout. More came and left, sparks of magic showed through the trees, but overall it was calm enough that she did little more than watch passively.

Well, not for long. A great pack of gembound swept past, the sound of crashing lightning and earth shattering behind them. Sharp was jostled awake-- what just happened? There was some massive monster chasing after-- oh look, the ghost guys were going! Running after the fleeing specters (and grateful to get away from whatever was happening behind her), the little lizard ran out in pursuit of the Hunt.

Exit Sharp.
