As Moose's hoof came down on her, she smiled. This one was stronger then the last. He was learning quickly and she knew she wouldn't want to be caught under that attack for real. She held up a wing, wanting to feel exactly how powerful the attack was.

Satisfied with his final blow, Blueberry was ready to stop. He thought he did well. Did he do good?

"Miss, did I do good? Will I be good in a fight?" He asked, his voice hopeful. He wanted to make her proud, to make her happy.

Blackberry reeled a bit at the last kick, surprised that Moose had been able to score a hit like that. She looked at the moose, surprised at his skill. In a sparring match, he had been able to beat her. Was she just tired from her last fight? Or was he actually that good?

She decided not to let him know that he could beat her, in case he thought it would be a good idea to one day rise against her. But she couldn't dash his spirits, either, or else he would never get good enough to beat enemies for real. She raised her head and nodded proudly. "Yes, Moose, you're a talented fighter. There's much to improve, but I think that, together, we could defeat anyone. I couldn't ask for a better...um..." she realized that she didn't quite have a word for Moose. A friend? No, she didn't have friends. A partner? That would imply that they were equal. She thought for a moment before finishing the sentance. "Ally. Yes, you're a fine ally, Moose."

She nodded, please with her save. "Perhaps we should get some rest. We begin our travels tomorrow."
