Eyes are beginning to open...

In the midst of the darkness, creatures suddenly stir. In a place that had laid still for so long, life is without warning thrust into its gaping depths. Chrysali interspersed throughout the rooms are beginning to crack open and arms, legs, beaks, jowls meet the air with hungry gasps. Silence is broken with the quiet thudding of feet against rock. Shadows pass against lonely walls that have not seen movement in eons.
