Ominous was the word that came to their head at Labradorites dismissal. How could it be so disinterested? But it had made clear that they would get no better answer, so they backed off - the conversation was shifting elsewhere anyways.

It used another word - Valkhounds - that stirred something in her. Not because she recognised it, simply because it was a really cool word to just... drop in the middle of a conversation like that. It had power, 'Valk-hound." She could be one. She wasn't sure what that meant.

The idea was dismissed as the explanation continued, but having grown attached to the concept in the few moments since it had been introduced, she interjected. "Well, you're a valkhound, right? You dont seem like uh, your reason has dissolved." Maybe it was really good at pretending - the thought started to make her nervous actually. Oh boy.
