The pitter-patter of rain starts to fill Polaris, as a storm brews. Ducking under a rocky outcropping, little Setanta barely avoids getting drenched. A shame too, she'd been enjoying looking around the place!

"Stupid water," she'd pout, glaring back out. "I was having FUN before you came, water!"

Unfortunately, the rain does not have feelings, and cannot be intimidated away in such ways. At least there's a decent amount of room in her temporary shelter.

@Mephala

When the rain first fell, Mephala was mesmerised, then annoyed, then angry as it soaked through to her fur. Wet and cold, she huffed to find coverage through the tunnel.

After her encounter with Belvadair, she went back to where she had hatched in Tunnel A and stayed around there for a couple days.

Today, however, Mephala was bored. So, shd travelled back to Polaris, and that was the only mistake she had ever made... because after that, the rain rain started.

She huffed, paws splashing through a puddle as she grumbled.

@Setanta

Due to Mephala's comparative silence, Setanta had no idea she's sharing her hiding spot. Turned away, she paws and bats at the rain, accomplishing a fair amount of Absolutely Nothing.

Frustrated, she'd spin to withdraw further below the underhang, only to smack straight into her new roommate with an "-OOF!" Landing on her hindquarters, she'd look up at the larger kitten. That gleaming gem shines ominously in the gloom.

"Oh. Hi? Didn't see ya there," Setanta would offer, smiling awkwardly.

@Mephala

She was in a bit of an annoyed mood over her fur getting soaked to the bone. So, when her eye-gem warmed up form casting Bioluminescence, it improved her mood slightly.

Mephala squints with her single good eye at the other feline, once she spots the smaller creature. "Greetings, thought I'd drown out there." Mephala deadpans with a shudder.

Shaking out her wet fur, she sits down in front of the other feline. She's bigger, slightly. She should be fine conversing with the stranger until the rain goes away.

Setanta lets out a breath she didn't realize she was holding when Mephala speaks. Not that the leopard likely intended to be intimidating, but that definitely was what it looked like. At least, with the tension broken some, Setanta can steady herself.

"Yeah, it's cold and wet and it SUCKS!" she agrees with enthusiasm. "It won't go away when I tell it to!"
