The first gemstone is a Pupil-level Nephrite once belonging to a hybrid of Domestic Chicken and a Elysia maoria Sea Slug. This creature was a slimy green omnivore a little over six inches long, which lived beneath the water but could also breathe air. Its single pair of limbs was a feathered set of wings that extended out from the slug-like "fins" at its sides. Though its main body colors were shades of neon and slightly darker forest greens, a streak of rooster-like brown-red striped its flanks. It mostly ate algae. The gemstone was a little ball that sat where an ear would be situated, if the creature had had one.
The second gemstone is a Pupil-level green Tsavorite once belonging to a brightly-colored Scarlet Macaw. The gemstone is a broad dot that once formed the tip of the Macaw's tongue.

Appearance: A creature that looks like someone stuffed a ferret into a reptilian scale suit. About twelve feet long (in total), the size of a smallish female alligator, covered in smooth and shiny snake scales along most of her body, with flatter alligator scutes along the underside and thicker, more armored scutes along hner neck, back, and upper tail. She is long, very agile, and tends to move like a snake, though she's capable of hopping, jumping and bounding, along with climbing. A forked tongue and scent pits take in the air; she has three eyes per side (and one in the throat, for seven in total). Spines along the back of the head are joined by the Onyx gemstone, which curls into small horns pointing back from the skull. The same stone extends down just beneath the skin on either side of the jaw, framing it but not situated very deep, providing mostly aesthetic and much smaller spikes there. Her head is fairly rounded and blunt, and the black, stinky oil substance of her bloodline does leak from glands beneath its throat and hidden along the body, though it's not as prolific as some of her ancestors. She has inherited Dragon's mutations, allowing for extra-armored back (and neck, and tail) scutes, along with the ability to flash colors along her flanks, and hidden gills behind her jaw and gemstone to allow it to breathe water--which is nice, because she's most at home when swimming.
