Giggle inhaled sharply, narrowing dark eyes in thought at the others' words. Then she looked to Aza'zel, intense, her attention wholly on him.

"...Do you remember what I foresaw, in the bones? A coming conflict, and a negotiation that would end in your death, or harm. I would beg you not to go. I know it isn't right to ask them to go in our stead, to put themselves at risk--I can go, if you like. I may not be the best with words, but... I don't think it will end well for you, Bone King. In fact, I don't beg--I insist... don't go," Giggle said, voice low but strong and solemn.

She remembered the fortune clearly--a conflict on the horizon, and Aza'zel moving to negotiate. A sacrifice, a risk, gone punished rather than rewarded. A poor end to a short story, though whether he would die, she could not say--only that the result would be severe.

She hoped he remembered.

She hoped he would listen.

For a moment, it seemed everyone exploded into speech and worry, especially Bevy, who fretted quite a bit. Hanging his head, Azazel murmured, "I don't want anyone to get hurt just as much as you, Bevy... but I don't know." Clicking his beak, he thought for a little while and pondered. The suggestion though of Maji Walezi getting involved... that did not settle with the Ave, not one bit. Frowning, he opened his beak to say something, but was interrupted by Leon, Makyna, and Giggle. The couple seemed to be keenly on board, while Giggle seemed just as concerned as he was. Finally, everyone was done speaking and everyone awaited his thoughts, his words... It felt like forever before he finally resurfaced in reality and lifted his head with a prominent frown upon his features.

"I am not going to allow you to go in our stead against the Merrymen. They will know that you are not from our group but from another's. I am not going to put you in danger by letting you attempt to negotiate with them. And the Bones do not lie." Casting a look back to his faithful companion, he blinked and looked back to Bevy and company. How could he condense his reasoning into one simple sentence? Oh. "I'm not willing to make this risk." His statement before this one of the bones' truth... in his future, he should avoid negotiation. It would not work well... they had said... that it would not end well should he attempt to. Since the telling of his fortune, he'd avoided negotiation and such like fire avoids water. Looking over to Giggle, he simply nodded amicably.

Please let them understand his reasoning. They could find another way.
