No chrysalis should look like the one that was sitting right there against the wall - lumpy, malformed, conflicting colors and patterns clashing all over it. Streaks of earth tones, brown and orange ran right into dull green splattered with blood red, which itself was cut off by dark blue bubbles and bright seafoam green. It was...a mess. Thanks to a certain skull-headed figure that only occasionally walked through the caves, three seperate growing chrysalis had fused together. And now it was time for their hatching. Obviously, only good things could come from this.

The goat head was first, snapping its eyes open and rearing back. There was a clattering sound as parts of the bloodstone cracked open and...more bloodstone peered out. The strange mohawk-like crest arrived first, then the goat came second. Just the top of its head, as it suddenly found resistance. A frown. WHAT was causing it to be unable to move farther? Who dared stop its escape from un-life!!

And then the lion head moved as it came to consciousness second, a great yawn heralding the awakening of the beast. He raised his head and moved to stand and suddenly the entire chrysalis was shattering around them. A yelp, a squeak, and a hiss - they had not noticed the snake head awakening. Perhaps she had been the first, but elected not to move.

Either way, the beast stumbled its way right out of the chrysalis, paws and hooves flailing, tripping over its own tail (which led out a noise of protest and pain) and it was stumbling onto its side. "Ow, ow! What was that?" "WHAT. What is happening? I CAN'T MOVE!" "Huh? Who's there?" "WHO IS SPEAKING!!" "Uh me? I'm speaking. Ow! Stop...banging your head against me!" "LET ME GO! I'll bite you!!" "I'm not holding you! Get off my legs, please?" "WHAT! You are on MY legs!"

This went on for quite a little while, as what looked like a mismash of random creatures writhed on the ground, paws flailing as they tried to stand, both halves of the body pushing in different directions, leading to stumbles to its feet and immediately keeling over. Over and over again. Meanwhile, the snake upon the tail was raising itself on the ground and pulling, but it could not move forward. Panic consumed her mind as she tried to flee, but it didn't work. She couldn't escape. Plan 2: bite.

The snake was whipping around, fangs bared to bite, maybe then she'd be free, but then she saw where the rest of her body was - there was no rest. She was attached to the hindquarters and lower back of...something. She tugged again. She couldn't get free. The instinct in her mind, however, was run and she could not run so she turned and fought. She bite forward, right on the leg kicking out for footing.

"OW!" The hoof kicked out, slamming her right in the jaw. She hissed and fell back. This all went on for a while as the venom began to work on their own system. There were not...fully immune, and they would eventually feeling their muscles going stiff. But, while they had control of their separate parts of the one body, they all fought to move. An almost hilarious image of such a strange, cluttered creature, trying to walk in two directions, while its tail tugged out freely, constantly stumbling, struggling to rise, and generally not going anywhere at all. And arguing all the way.

"Buckley is speaking!" "GORE IS SPEAKING!!!" "Ishani is speaking..."

Her bag was hung over her right shoulder, under her left arm, where it sat against her side, the strap the perfect length for it to not bounce around as she walked. She had a few herbs, sticks and other items within it, things that she either enjoyed and wanted to keep, or things that she thought would be helpful with healing, or just seeds she wanted to plant later.

However, as she traveled, she found herself in a place that had little to no foliage and she paused, looking around curiously. Well, even if there wasn't anything she could pick up here, perhaps she could still explore a bit. And so, that's what she did, until she came across a... pile of creatures? No... that was only one creature with... did it have multiple heads?

This small thing was certainly not the strangest thing she had ever seen, but it did look like it could use some help. She kept her distance, not wanting to startle them but also not wanting to get attacked for helping. Are you alright? She called out gently, her voice calm and light, motherly and gentle, hoping to ease whatever chaos she was witnessing.

So concerned with yelling at each other and trying to walk more then two steps, they did not notice the approaching wolf until she was speaking. All three heads immediately turned as best they could to see the speaker, and all three heads spoke up at once. "No, I don't know what's going on!" "SHUT UP and GET THIS THING OFF ME!!" "Stay back. Stay back or I'll bite!" Heads turned, eyes darted around as they glared at each other and then began to try and pull apart again.

It was a mess of panic and anger and confusion. The lion cub fought harder to free himself, the snake hissed and continued to whip her head around as she tried to figure out how to escape. The goat head stomped its legs and banged its crest-like gemstone against whatever body part it could reach. After a moment further of struggling, the lion cub looked up at the wolf, eyes bright with adrenaline, and pleaded - "Can you help us? I think we're stuck! I don't know what's happening."

"Buckley is speaking!" "GORE IS SPEAKING!!!" "Ishani is speaking..."

She just watched for a moment, her eyes wide, as she saw them struggle against each other. It was during this time that she realized the three heads were all attached to the same body and she was certain they hadn't realized it just yet. She'd have to be careful with how she handled things and her opening gambit would have to be gentle and nonthreatening.

She waited for them to tire out, watching as the lion cub asked for help. I need you three to calm down for me please, take a breath. Let me help. She took a few steps closer, slow and gentle. I'm going to help you up, please don't bite me. She would wait a few seconds to let them stop her before she would aim to move to their side, gently nosing against their side to try and help detangle their limbs and right them. Slow and steady, one foot at a time. You got this. She spoke gently, like a mother talking to a child, holding their hand and leading them through it.

By this time, the snake venom was beginning to affect the body and they found their individual strengths beginning to falter. It wouldn't become full paralysis, there was enough of an immunity to their own venom, but it certainly began to smother the fight. Their breaths came in pants and their heads were all feeling fuzzy. This reciprocal effect was what clued the snake-head into realizing what was happening. She didn't speak further, but rather stopped fighting, turning her head back as best she could, wide-eyed in disbelief, as she observed where her body was attached to the goat's backside.

The lion cub, meanwhile, nodded breathlessly, glancing back at the goat. "Please don't bite her? She's trying to help." For a moment, the goat looked unconvinced, lip curling and revealing the predatory teeth beneath, blood-red eyes glaring at the approaching wolf, but then it calmed. Calmed enough, at least. "Fine. HELP, then!"

The cub sighed, relieved, and did what the wolf told, tried to calm himself from this confusion, and allowing the wolf to help them take it slow. It was awkward at first, because he couldn't feel his back legs at the moment, or, at least, they weren't responding to him, but he was climbing to his feet anyways, anchoring himself with his front paws.

The goat, meanwhile, kicked out at first when its body was suddenly moving. It bleated in protest, and tried to scramble its feet beneath them, but then it was rising, and its hooves were firm against the ground. Just the back hooves.

And it was when they were standing all together, firm on the ground, that there seemed to be some kind of mutual understanding of something - the lion cub looked back, blinking with confusion. He didn't have back legs. And the goat's eyes were widening with horror. "WHAT IS THIS?!" it screeched as it tried to pull itself free, but only succeeded in throwing its own head back and, by extension, jerking the lion cub backwards a few steps. He cried out with surprise, but the wolf nearby giving them some stability helped and kept them on their feet.

The cub looked to her, eyes wide. "What's happening to us?" He already knew. But he didn't want to say it.

"Buckley is speaking!" "GORE IS SPEAKING!!!" "Ishani is speaking..."

She hesitated for a moment, taking a step back once she assisted the misshapen creature to stand, wanting to give them a moment to figure things out and hopefully not fall into a tangle of limbs once more. She stifled a wince at their confusion, taking a moment to think before she would speak up, her voice gentle and coaxing, as if she were talking to a frightened child, or in this case, three of them.

It would seem that you are.... connected. She tried to keep her voice calm, wanting to try and keep them calm as well. It's clear you all think separately, but you share one body. You will have to learn to work together. She doubted that would go well, but she believed they could do it. If they stopped trying to kill each other.

Do you all have names? She remembered when she hatched, the name Aerys had come out of no where, but it felt right, so she went with it. She silently wondered if they each had names or if they all shared a title.

For the first of, hopefully, many times in the three-beings lives, they all felt the same at once, and collectively felt their hearts skip at the fact - they were connected. They were one. There was no escaping each other.

The goat, however, went straight to denial. "NO. I cannot be locked like this for...forever!!" It threw its head back, determined to rip itself free, but no amount of wiggling or pulling was loosening it from the rest of the body. It only succeeded in bucking back the lion's head and causing the area where they were connected to feel sore. "Can you stop? ...stop! Seriously, stop!" The lion's head eventually snapped, turning from the wolf and snarling at the goat. "That hurts!"

The snake watched this interaction carefully, trying to keep herself calm. Already, she was beginning to see the dynamic laying out in front of the three - she was, in a way, less effected. She was almost an accessory to them, an after-thought. She did not have legs, nor any way to push them around, besides the threat of her bite. What did that leave her with, then?

Her eyes flicked to the wolf. An outside party, she could offer assistance, right? Surely, she had seen others like them before.

"What should we do?" she asked, quietly. "How do we...learn? To work together?" At the request for a name, she paused, tongue flickering thoughtfully. "Ish....ani. Ishani." Her head turned to the others and she tried to speak a little louder. "Why don't YOU two come up with names?"

That made the two of them pause in their bickering for a second and turn back to the wolf. The lion hesitated, the goat did not. "EASY. I am BLOODGORE OF THE GREAT KILLING. Uh, GOREBRINGER THE TERROR. Or just GORE." The lion snorted, amused, and for that he received a sharp kick in the stomach from the goat leg, which caused him to briefly go off balance.

"Ow," he complained, righting himself. "Uh, I'm...I can be....Buck...ley? That's a good name, I guess. Do you have a name?"

"Buckley is speaking!" "GORE IS SPEAKING!!!" "Ishani is speaking..."

It seemed like they would need some supplemental assistance, and she was more than willing to give it to them, for as much as she could that is. She smiled gently and shook her head. It'll be okay, I promise, you three just need to work together, help each other out."

She gave them a moment to come up with names before smiling brightly at them like a proud mother. Ishani, Gore and Buckley. Those are wonderful names. My name is Aerys.

She took a moment to think before walking over to find a frozen stick that had gotten stuck in the icy crevices. Pulling hard, she picked it up and turned towards the three, though she offered the stick to Buckley. Take this, I want you to give it to Gore and then Gore, I want you to give it to Ishani. She figured they would struggle a little, considering where their heads lie, but if they could work together, they would be able to. Buckley and Gore, you two will be in charge of twisting your body in a way where your heads can reach each other. Do you think you an do that?

She cocked her head to the side, waiting to see how well they worked together.
