As the goat scrabbled and bit at the bauxite and refused to back up, Ishani realized that Gore was going to get them fucking killed as soon as that stinger stabbed into their shoulder. Cold realization flooded her veins. She didn't know what it would do, but there had to be venom in that.

She turned and snapped forward, defensive, hissing, trying to get her own fangs into the Bauxite, but her strike went wide. Fear began to creep through her brain. They were in trouble. Gore was inconsolable at this point. "Gore please," she hissed. "We need to GO!" But the goat continued to gnaw at the enamel mask, screaming with fury. "WHY IS YOUR FACE NOT BREAKING!! I HATE YOU!"

The chimera fought itself - a weak design, compared to Bauxite-T-One's sublime coordination. He knew what he wanted, and he knew it completely.

He wanted this thing DEAD.

They still clung together in combat, Gore gnawing on his tooth and Bauxite stabbing furiously at their shoulders, but he was getting sloppy now, lost in his pure, indignant, rage. He wasn't even breaking the skin at this point.

The fight was devolving into a mess, two childen clawing uselessly at each other while Ishani tried to reign in the bloodthirst of the goat's head. She hissed and pulled, physically and mentally, and she felt the venom racing through their system. They didn't have long.

"GORE." She pulled again, but it was no use. The goat was dominating. But then there was an opening, the stingers weren't breaking the skin, the bauxite's attacks weren't hitting the way they should, and the snake had an idea. Instead of pulling away from Gore, for a moment she leaned in. Pushed into its bloodthirst, its anger, and instead of physical violence, helped it snap back into its magical violence. Another pulse of energy shot out, to blast the bauxite away, giving them the opportunity they needed.

Shocked by he sudden give-in, Gore was thrown off guard, and it was all Ishani needed to take her own control. Suddenly finding herself with motor control of the legs, she stumbled back and tried to force the body to flee. It was...awkward, the snake had never controlled real legs before, but she did her best to pull the Triage back as Gore screamed obscenities.

He stabbed. And he stabbed. And he stabbed. All thought and sense fading from him in the adrenaline-fueled fury. He would kill them, all three. He would die trying. Because he hated them with all of his glowing guts.

That, and he was really REALLY hungry, and it was getting worse by the second.

With one final jab, he prayed that the triage would meet collective downfall. Unable to move, to struggle against what was clearly the circle of life. To be repurposed, and become something far greater.

HIM.

He was flung before the strike could land. He rag-dolled through the air for the second time in this thread.

It was around this time that Buckley started to regain his own control. Together, he and Ishani managed to wrangle Gore's part of the body into running, turning tail and fleeing from this very obviously dangerous gembound that they could not fight at the moment. They were too small, too uncoordinated, and too conflicted to band together.

"You are all COWARDS. WE could have KILLED IT!!" Gore continued to thrash his head as his legs moved against his will. He tried bucking the body back and it definitely succeeded in throwing them off their movements a little, especially combined with the venom trying to seize their limbs. Ishani could feel her heart racing - maybe even one or two more stabs of that stinger and they potentially would have gone down.

Buckley, too, didn't like the violence that had been displayed and his own fear of it kept them going. Gore continue to fight back, however, as they stumbled their way towards the exit, and safety.

The Bauxite collided with the ground, again. This time it took longer to get up, righting itself on legs that ached with numerous cuts and bruises. His limbs were unfortunately delicate - he was lucky to not have broken anything today.

Not that he was aware of this, at all. All he felt was the storm of his own tantrum as he watched the Triage make their escape in his peripheral. The failure stung worse than any injury he'd gained - wasn't this his birthright? To feed on the lesser?

And so, as the three disappeared from view, T-Bauxite-One screeched. Like he was dying. Like he was unable to do anything else than make this one, awful noise.
