- THE LEVIATHAN -
He looked over those gathered once more, though his attention was mostly on the knight-beast.
There were... many. It was a good--even wonderful--thing. The cave was full of life, of Valkhounds (and their ilk) interacting, cooperating, taking quick charge of groups and moving off. He could delegate, and it was...
...it was working.
Vargas let out a light exhale, a pressure he hadn't realized he'd been carrying escaping him. The Chaos Forge was something he'd been struggling to first create, and then maintain: his way of reforging the nest as a whole. And for the first time... he felt like it might be working.
Then Mirac began to shout, and the moment passed, and Vargas shook his head a little and looked to V-Chaos-Thirteen (though they were not yet named). "Come, then. We will find you food."

He couldn't help it - Azrael grinned at Mirac's speaking. He couldn't help but puff his chest a little bit and stand a little taller. "YES. I crave the fall of the Hive! I desire their DESTRUCTION. You seem a worthy companion in this! I will wield you, if that is what you wish!" He glanced to the Corundum as well, nodding with approval. He remembered her - they had once burned the order of Gemini together and she had leaned full into his teachings. Another worthy companion. This would be a good group, he thought, to begin their rampage.
"Yes, with us. We will find us a Drone to kill. And I will share more names as I come up with them." He looked Mirac over for a moment, thinking. "How does one wield you? I have not wielded a weapon before, much less a sentient one. May I...?" He held a hand out, pausing before actually grabbing the handle of the sword and waiting for Mirac's okay. If he did, he would curl a hand over the handle and do whatever it was Mirac instructed, if anything.

Mirac was unsure what a high five was, but knew to swing himself into it anyways. It would probably have been easier if he had used his hilt wrap, but impulsive as Mirac was, of course he used his blade. It was, luckily, flat-side, as he attempted to mimic V-Corundum. The blow left his jaws rattling and head spinning, and he had to laugh in the joy of it.
Azrael quickly took Mirac's attention once again. How could he not--he was Mirac's first wielder in ages. "Wielding Mirac is SIMPLE. You pick MIRAC up and swing him into ANYONE. Mirac will BITE them." As soon as Azrael got 'May' out Mirac had already ensconced himself within Azrael's grasp. "YES YES! RAISE ME!" Mirac squealed in joy. It had been too long since he had been used against another. Mirac tightened his guard around Azrael's hand, and furled his wrap around his arm. Too excited to not, he attempted to sting Azrael's arm. "WIELDER! I am YOURS to SWING and COMMIT ATROCITIES with. SWING ME INTO FLESH MUCH FLESH! ALL WILL BE SPLATTERS OF GORE! ALL CANIS ONLY CHUNKS OF MEAT! LETS GO! NOW NOW NOW!!"

The eagerness of the valkhound-blade was amusing, and invigorating. He didn't even have to go to grip the hilt, it was already being thrust into his grasp. It was an odd feeling, holding a weapon that could talk back. The wrap that curled around his hand at first he thought nothing of, but then the sharp pain in his forearm alerted him to the stinger and he flinched, surprised, but then...
Oh. Oh. Whatever it was that the stinger injected into his veins made his heart suddenly jump and his entire body feel warm. Like a red veil descending over his mind, not too different from moments of battle in which he found himself lusting for blood and destruction. His blood was racing hot in his veins, adrenaline kicking into gear within moments. He held Mirac tight and raised the sword in his grip, a feral grin splitting his face. "You are glorious," he snarled, delighted. "I hope again that we find Mother's foul children in Canis, so that we can spill their guts across the bones! We GO!"
Gripping tight the handle of Mirac, Azrael turned to storm out of Draco, at last feeling more alive then he had in many cycles.
