They flinch at Rajani's glare, but it seems he's accepted their offer of a treat. And then the tiger makes a show of his raw strength, much more than Rue's lithe frame. It makes them a little jealous, how they were not blessed with the power of the larger Valkhounds of the Forge. Can't destroy with my own two claws...

But then Rajani's asking more questions, about things. They create another banana, just like the last one, ready for the taking. "These? They sparkle-shine. And taste good," they declare.

...Wait, he probably meant the bugs. Their realization is a beat late, a bit of awkward silence. But Rue then actually answers the question, "The bugs eat rocks. They can nibble at your gem, or worm into someone's sleeping-stone. Not good at all."

He raised an eyebrow as they spoke of the bananas, providing him with another that he didn't take just yet, but he certainly would eat it soon, they did taste pretty good. Of course he wasn't going to tell them that, he wasn't going to be bought with just some tasty bananas.

He stood there for a moment, giving them a chance to realize he was talking about the bugs and sure enough, the light seemed to click in their mind and they answered him. Okay, interesting. While he had no intentions of staying here and saw these things as not a threat to him, he was here now and figured if nothing else, they could be good target practice for attacking small things.

Which he clearly needed more practice on because as he clawed at the critters, they all scattered and he scowled softly. Tedious little things. He muttered softly before turning to look at them. I assume you live round here if things are issue for you.
