Anger swelled within the flightless eaglet, and he took the threatening posture he'd adopted before. His torso lowered to parallel itself with the floor, where his wings spread ever slightly and his beak parted. She turned her back, and the eaglet took this chance. He leapt forth, sharp beak parted and aimed for her tail. He would only give a strong, quick chop to attempt and turn the girl back around for further play.
"I'm not finished!"
The browning eagle cawed selfishly, pushing all thoughts of mom and vicktor to the back of his mind, as they would only deter the little bastard from torturing the wolf pup further.

This would teach her well to never turn your back against a possible adversary. The moment she turned to leave behind this wretched place, that stupid bird saw fit to run after her and pinch the crap out of her tail. Aleera released a ear piercing cry and swung around, anger newly renewed and evident in those burning coals she called eyes. One paw came swinging round with the wolf, a burning sensation rising at the bottom of her feet as she did so only to completely miss the bird. Turned round to now face the the bird her limbs shook as she bore her teeth in a vicious snarl, at least until the burning grew to the point where she could no longer ignore it. Orange eyes glanced down to see thin tendrils of smoke rising from her feet which quickly resulted in an awkward and pain filled dance that eventually had the wolf toppling over onto her side with cries of pain.

Aleera curled into herself, the bottom of her paws glowing with a white hot intensity, and wherever she had stepped blackened marks were left in her wake. The wolf remained on the ground, in to much pain to retaliate over the bird having bit her tail even as the glow began to fade. Her entire frame shook with the pain, little teeth clenched as she laid there, writhing in the brief agony a new magic had caused her.

the wolf's failed attempt at the anneal of her paws was something ambrus could openly cackle about. the juvenile bird chirped a loud, gleeful chortle as he hopped about to miss any and all attempts made by the obsidian wolf.
"oh my, that was hilarious."
he gushed, hopping over to her writhing body, peering down at her with raging azurite lenses.
"fire versus electricity. you'd think i'd have a better challenge than that."
his head raised, veering off to the side so that she could only see one eye.
"i'll show mercy if you give me your name."
a small grin spread across his stark yellow beak, tail feathers swishing about a little as he waited for the girl's response, wondering just what kind of a rise he'd get from that.

Though the glow of the magic faded the pain remained, keeping Aleera coiled up in a call of misery while the young bird, Ambrus deemed it a good time to pick on the wolf pup even more. With a self assured chuckle Aleera barely herd he waddled closer, remarking how hilarious her failure at this new magic at been. He cared not that she was in agony, that her paws burned as though she'd been walking on hot coals. All he cared about was making her suffer like so many other had, because she wasn't 'normal' she wasn't pretty, so damn her right? Her form shook but those orange eyes engulfed in rage opened just wide enough to watch the bird hop over her form with his antagonizing tones about her fire versus his electricity.

Sadly enough, she knew he was right. He was stronger than her in terms of magic, that much was clear in how well he had wielded his own against her. Now, she laid here in pain of her own making because she had not controlled the flow of this new magic. She did not know what to call it because it had never happened to her before, but it hurt like hell, and perhaps it was fitting punishment. Self pity roiled up inside her, making her clench her eyes shut tightly as she remained upon the ground whimpering at the continued pain flaring up at the bottom of her paws. If she had been stronger, if she had been smarter...This wouldn't have happened. She wouldn't be in pain, she wouldn't have to deal with Ambrus and all because she was too fucking stupid to stay away!

The eaglet leaned over her, peering down upon her with those laughing eyes as he spoke again. He would show her mercy if she gave him her name, and right away Aleera knew it was another trap. Another way in which the bird would be able to torment her, but in this position, in this amount of pain what could she do other than to give him what he wanted in the mere hope that he might hold on to his word. The onyx wolf flinched once more, her eyes opening just enough to look at him in her pathetic state. No. No he wouldn't keep to his word. She could tell by the way he was looking at her. Anger for this treatment came back to her. Why did she deserve this simply because she was different? Suddenly her pain became the kindling for her anger and instead of hindering her it drove her forward. Her form didn't stop trembling but she managed to find the strength to move and with a furious snarl she turned her head so she may look up to the bird with an awful display of pearly white teeth. "Cram it puff ball!" She snarled, jerking upward with a powerful movement yet she could not ignore all of the pain and a shot of it ran up her forepaws when she used them caused her to falter, missing her target my a mere inch before rolling back upon the ground in a shaking pile of angry fur.

the eaglet let out another caw of a laugh, throwing his beak toward the ceiling of the cave then back down to the pup.
"pathetic!"
of course he was being a major bully. he thrived off of her suffering. he fed off of her anger and shallow insults. like hallowed out tree branches poking at him, breaking upon impact. futile.

the eaglet fluttered his wings, looking down at the wolf pup before he attempted to use her as another target. a toy to practice his magic.
"now hold still, let's see if i can do this."
he then summoned the magic from his gem, pulling energy from it in order to attempt his charge spell. he then executed the spell, aiming to charge the wolf pup with his electricity. he smiled wickedly, taking a few steps back, stretching his beak toward her to attempt and just barely touch her with his beak, to see if she was in fact charged with his magic.
"do you feel anything, ugly mugly?"
he asked tormentingly, hoping she'd not get out of the way before he could test his theory.

The bird laughed at her attempts. Laughed at her pain. He enjoyed this as much as she hated it. This is what it meant to be different. Down cast and hated and it would always be her fault. As she lay there, barely able to move due to the amount of pain that lingered upon her feet, she could do nothing but endure. Her clenched eyes did not see him anymore, only the darkness, but her ears herd him well enough when he commanded her to lay still. Aleera knew all to well what more he could do, what he intended to do as she lay near immobile due to her own failings at magic. Silently, hopelessly, she tried to get up but slumped down again when that pain shot up along her legs and the crackling of the birds magic echoed in her ears before it popped off and hit the wolf pup dead on. She released an agonized scream that echoed in the whole of Canis, forcing her to jolt into a tight ball, muscles ceasing before she fell limp completely.

Her entire body went numb, and the pain no longer lingered there but neither could she accurately force her limbs to move, and so she didn’t. What would be the point? If she tried to retaliate she might just fail again and make things worse. She might as well just take the punishment the bird seemed fit to deem and when she could, run when the first opportunity arose. The numbness remained right up until there was a poke on her shoulder and another jolt ran through the pups body that forced Aleera to scream out once more a fit of seizure and the numbness vanished, along with any thought of self pity. If this was to be her fate, if she were to be the target for every upstart itching to carve a name for themselves out of her hide…Then she’d give them a fight they would not soon forget! The pain of it all came crashing against the mental and emotional misery that this, and every other encounter she'd had caused her. Pain was the price it took to remove every ounce of self concern, self preservation, and fear that could possibly linger in the little wolves body. Rage took root in her subconscious, rage that blinded her to everything around her, even the pain that screamed at her paws as slowly she got back to her feet without so much as a word.

The creases in her paws and the claws that stuck out from them became aglow with a white hot intensity that it's mere touch upon the stone sent black tendrils of smoke curling up around her thinly muscled limbs. "You call me ugly..." She began, head slowly rising so that she could meet the gaze of the eaglet head on. There was not the pup who had been there a moment ago, what inhabited the body of that wolf was nothing regarding even slightly sane. "But the one who's ugly where it counts, is you." Sharpened ivories were born in a growl that spoke of a mature wolf, though she looked nothing of the sort. Her paws were burning on her own magic, the flesh searing away, yet she didn't feel it at all. All she felt was the hatred, and the resentment. The last of Ambrus' charge expelled from her body with a violent pop, and smile twisted her ragged features to a far more gruesome degree. "Let's play a game."

a game? a game! oh, ambrus would play a game. a wicked grin spread across his beak, his azurite lenses glaring deep into her own as the pair seemed to square up once again. and without much else to ensue this type of rage toward one another, ambrus rather enjoyed this. he was feeding off of her demise, her apparent rise, and soon to be her downfall. she would always regret this day, ambrus was sure. and when they would see each other when they were both fully grown, ambrus would torment her once again. flightless wings fluttered, and his tail feathers shifted.
"oh yes, a game. let's play a game. there'll be no rules, little wolf. can you handle that?"
he asked tauntingly. she suggested a game, so the bird would carry out such a thing - without waiting for her to describe whatever game she had in mind.

he began hopping around her, attempting to circle her as he aimed to get on her other side. he eyed the tail of the baby beast, let out a chirping chortle before speaking again.
"a game in which, perhaps, you learn your place?"
if she even had one.
he then drew back his head, attempting to conjure as much momentum as possible in order to execute this attack. he thrust forth, beak agape while he tried to grasp at her marred flesh about her face. his stance was perfection, the execution even more so. his wings spread jsut right in order to maintain proper equilibrium. the little eaglet's attempts would to be to peck at the soft, fragile carapace on her disgusting countenance.

The healthy man does not torture others. Generally, it is the tortured who turn into the tortured. Yet this concept had no baring on Aleera now. Indeed, what she knew and what she felt compelled to do were in fact two totally different things. It no longer mattered to her if the bird was in some way crippled emotionally that forced him to act out his own aggression upon her, it only mattered that he face her now. If he was going to hurt her, if he was going to kill her, then he was going to look at her while he did it. Failure and the possibility of harm were gone from her thoughts, if even you could consider her to have them anymore. There was only desire and the drive to reach it. Ambrus chirped in a delighted manner, too stupid or too naive to see what his mistreatment had unleashed. In the end it would not matter if he saw it now, because by the time Aleera was finished there would be no doubt in her mind. She remained standing, the screaming pain in her legs and feet all but apparent as she stared down the eaglet, a crooked, toothy smile spread across ugly features. It was a dare. One the idiot bird was all to happy to oblige.

Though he asked if she could handle no rules she gave him to reply, she simply remained glued to the spot she stood in with those black tendrils rising up all around her. The smell of burning flesh wafted through Canis and still she gave no visible indication that she could even feel herself burning away on her own magic. Ambrus giggle again, sure in his own right to dominate over the wolf and insisted the game be one where Aleera learn her place. ”Or I make one for you, six feet in the ground.” She spoke through harsh tones, laced in a snarl the bore no lie in her intentions. She would kill him if she got the chance. Then the bird saw fit to continue his onslaught, and lowered himself parallel to the ground. He didn’t hide his intentions, either because of inexperience or because he wanted Aleera to see him. And oh, did she see him. He hopped around her, sizing her up as though physically he could even begin to measure up to the likes of her before shooting forward. She knew what he was going to do before he even did it. To mar her face even more than it already was would surely 'teach' her a lesson wouldn't it? No, it wouldn't. The bird could do nothing to her any worse than what she dealt with on a daily basis already, but still, he would try.

He shot forward with his razor sharp beak at the ready and a smarter creature would have gotten out of his way sooner. Aleera did not. She remained glued to that spot, the power of her magic fading but not the damage it had already done to the pads of her little paws. Just as Ambrus got to her, she moved with a quickness afforded her due to a thinly built body of a child and opened her impressive jaws as wide as they would go. The eaglets head could easily fit whole in her mouth, and with the same intention as before, she brought those deadly sharp fangs down with an aim to pierce or to tare. It made no difference to her what it did, so long as he bleed.

and though the bird's execution was flawless, the wolf pup was quick to assume and calculate, as well as reciprocate. sharp baby teeth came at the birds head, and soon he found his face within her jaw's grasp. he screeched a mighty caw, before flapping flightless wings. he then attempting to charge the wolf, hoping to shock her so as she'd open her mouth. in return, if successful, he'd be sure to quickly yank his head from her mouth. summoning his magic, pulling energy from his azurite gem, the eaglet was able to conduct the static spell. sparks charged up, jumping from his body toward her's, in hopes the shocks were enough to make her unhinge her jaws.

if not, well, it might be the eaglet's end. and though he was far too proud to ever admit defeat or a draw, he would silently take away from this brawl. he would file away that arrogance was a dangerous trait to possess, even though the whole of this spar he'd had the upper wing - until now. the tables turned, the wolf's rage all too flagrant. but the eaglet wouldn't give up so easily, and he'd have another go and another go, until he'd finally be able to say he'd won - if this isn't the end.

Her teeth made impact. Had she been fully mature, the eaglet would not have lived long enough to let out his caw of displeasure, nor bat the side of her face with his flailing wings. Ambrus writhed in her grasp but her jaws did not loosen and neither did the muscles in her body. Pulled taunt she remained like the mountain when the wind howled against her. This bird thought he was above her, above her because she did not display ‘perfectness’. A common thing shared between her abusers. They saw her disfigurements as a disgusting disadvantage and used their words to try and take advantage of what they believed to be a weakness. But it wasn’t a weakness. It was a difference, and there lie in Ambrus fatal mistake. Precarious were his delusions and Aleera would see to it that he never had them of the likes of her again. She was not weak and he would know it, they would all know it. Lips pulled back, a smile touching her deranged features for a moment as the eaglet continued to flail about, moment by moment, her needle sharp teeth pressing further and further, searching, wanting, watching, and waiting for the moment when his feeble form could not fight against her grasp any longer.

Then the familiar sound of electric pops sounded off, orange eyes turning downward even still as Ambrus flailed against her helplessly. He was getting ready to cast a spell, but in the fraction of a moment it took her to realize it it was far to late. The jolt surged through the young pup’s body and her muscles spazzed in response. Two of her legs locked into place while the other two faltered and she fell to the ground, jaws widening and losing her grip upon the bird. The electricity danced around her, half painful half numb, all kindling for her rage. Svelte head reared back, a deep breath taken in through the nose before her head came back with jaws wide to spew forth a wave of heat that would send even the most hardened beasts reeling backward from her. Though the discharge had her still she found the will to command her muscles and stand back up to face the eaglet. "Shall I have another go? I'll be sure to make a clean cut next time." Aleera's voice was low and taunting, wanting nothing more than to rip her abuser apart in the most painful way possible.
