Giggle listened attentively to the young cat, with respect due more to an equal than a cub. She took the words seriously, took the question quite obviously to heart, and turned her full attention back to the bones.
For a moment she looked into her pit, concentrating, brow furrowing as she read into the young one's far future. Or... not so much, it seemed.
Interesting.
For a moment, Giggle murmured to herself. "...It seems... yes, light, and--hmm... those there--..." Finally, Giggle lifted her head, looking to Amaria. "You have been offered the gift of family already, and it is something you find joy in. Perhaps not accepted yet, not joined yet, but you know them, like them. It will become clear to you abruptly, though I cannot see precisely when: I see a light, an illumination. Perhaps a realization, some truth exposed, and then the rest will follow."
The hyena looked down at the bones, and then at Amaria once more, solemn.
"I am sorry the news is not better--or more specific," she added wryly. But the thought lingered in her mind; was the strength of the cat the strength of spirit, or the strength of literal rebirth...?
She wasn't sure what Amaria would go through, but Giggle was finding that she didn't hate her as she hated other cats, and she hoped that the cat would not go through anything too terrible. Impulsively, she spoke again.
"If you need a place to stay, you now, you may always stay here...?"
