QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

Kerberos' tail was held high as he lead Delphine into Canis, eager to show her every last little bit. For now, he started at the western wall-- that was where the tastiest of cave rats were, even if he could never ever catch one. Bones could-- or, once upon a time, he could. He didn't let that thought linger too long.
"So this is where all the tasty cave rats and, um, plant stuff is, I guess. Not a lot of life in here, but, see, here's where there's some water and weeds and the rats live in the walls and come out sometimes-- I'm no good at catching them but my brother is. There's almost no bones to trip over too, so we can practice getting all tough and strong here if you want," he rambled off, his tail swaying back and forth high above his heads. He was wondering just how he was going to play and practice with the horse without hurting her, but he'd come up with something. His pushy magic probably wouldn't hurt her if there wasn't anything to bump into, at least.
"What kinda magic do you have, anyway?" He asked, a grin upon all three of his muzzles.
The filly's shorter strides lagged considerably when first they entered the room. She was captivated by the space piled high against the walls with bones and yet more still. To have created a collection as vast as this would surely have called for the imminent death of thousands and yet the thought did not petrify her as it should have. Perhaps it was because she stood in the presence of a hound who had so quickly befriended her or that she had already encountered terrors enough to face this with but a sharp intake of breath. "It's... Amazing in a really creepy way." The child asserted with a firm nod, daring to lower her muzzle to the floors if only to nudge a stray bone aside. "Do you live here with others?" She inquired curiously for it would not have been entirely unlikely for the hound to take homage here with others, it seemed most befitting of him too.
When he stopped, she too drew distance between them for the purpose of their journey now was to practice magic and if that were the case, well... She did not think it wise to draw near when her own control was so volatile, a part of her feared that she would hurt the dog even if it were but a small scratch it would be one done unto him by her. "I'm not too sure... I can shake the grounds if I try really hard and sometimes I can cut up some rocks." She offered in a way of explanation. To have claimed that it was a power over the rocks seemed inaccurate and hardly fitting but the title otherwise eluded her as her attention shifted to his paws. She had seen the glow that came from it and made assumptions toward his gift but the possibility that she was wrong quieted her desire to jump the gun. "What of yours?"

"Yeah! I live here with my brother, and mom! And a few others, but they're not as fun. Lots of birds." He shook his heads, putting on three wide toothy grins as he bounced about, wriggling and getting ready for a good session of play with a bit of cardio. He stopped, ears perking, as she mentioned that she could shake the earth. He remembered a wolf, at the time he was as big as she was-- still very much a puppy-- who tore the earth apart and nearly gobbled him up.
The dog stopped bouncing and stepped forward, prodding his noses closer to her, blinking. "Like Arkrael," he woofed, "Alpha." The hound of hell backpedaled a few paces, grinning wildly. "Powerful! You can make the earth eat things," he guessed, a wag racing through his tail. He was quite impressed that she had that powerful magic, the same as not only the Alpha wolf, but if he thought even farther back, a lion with the earth shielding his body.
When she asked what he could do, however, he prepared his favorite trick of all time. He would show her what he could do, the neatest trick, the one that his mother Giggle had been so amazed by. He knew she would be amazed too. It was a rare gift, as far as he could tell. Only the black winged Other-Kerberos could do it, too.
The magic came to him with ease, his body blurring and suddenly, before the filly's eyes, there would be not one three headed beast, but two. All six heads grinned and bark,
