QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.

Bravo didn't even attempt to hide the scowl of disgust that flashed onto his face when the bird demonstrated the fearsome cracking of a bone. Even wrestled back a gag when he started to pick at the dark, decaying goo that resided inside the skeleton fragment. Pushing it away, being careful not to fling it too hard because even he wasn't feeling THAT disrespectful, Bravo shook his head. "I said nah," he retorted, eyes getting dry from the staring, then blinked slowly. He was quite okay with his diet of random garbage, such as miscellaneous mushrooms, berries, some little fish he caught in the stream... Long dead meat, just nah.
Teetering up onto his hind legs once again and falling back into the familiar way he preferred to sit, Bravo scratched at his belly, deep in thought. Aza'zel wanted to know what his plans for with the bones. The raccoon really wanted a castle, a massive den made from them. But he doubted his new friend would comply, maybe later he would propose on expanding his manor. "It's too open in here. I wanna build a thing to hide in," he explained, pointing to the bones. "They're gonna be the walls. Wouldn't it be cool to have a fort!"
He cackled a little too maniacally, having a fort and being in a club would be spectacular. His mind was flying through the possibilities this group could pose for him. A smoldering of light collected from his "third eye" and it glowed a deep turquoise color casting an array of shifting light onto the cave's floor and across the piled bones. "Consider me in!" his mind spoke clear, mouth unmoving, but aloud all around the two children. As his stone began to dim, he winked at Aza'zel and smirked like mad.
His bone offering was turned down, much to The Bone King's chagrin. A while back, he had acknowledged that not everyone liked to eat bones, but Azazel was pretty sure that some mammals ate them. Bravo was a mammal, right? He seemed pretty warm and cozy in that furry coat of his. The bird was half tempted to reach out and stroke it, but the young ave resisted the wiles of temptation. He would not stroke another being. That was just weird. Azazel showed little or no sadness at being rejected, pulling up the bone to his mouth to take a little of the marrow out, only to place it back down on the floor and abandon it. He was not all that hungry, and Azazel was very positive about the fact that Krakarak would enjoy the meal. "Okay." The bird chirped, carmine eyes still glimmering with happiness.
Onto what the critter's plans were for his bones and the others in this sector of Canis. At the mention of something to hide in, the bird was confused. "It isn't that open in here, Bravo." Azazel demurred, gazing about at the haphazardly built
fortresses and hideaways. That wasn't that open. Then he realized that Bravo was smaller than him. Too open for him. Big mental facepalm. Azazel flapped his wings, pushing himself up on top of one of the bone fortresses, tilting his head. "I'll help you build one if you really want a little bone fort." Carmine eyes glinted with mischief, carefully peeling a femur from the fortress he perched upon, waving it about happily. "The Bonebound aren't official yet, but... I'll call you when I think I have enough friends for it. Lots of fun!" He guffawed, feathers flaring for a dramatic flair. He was definitely gleeful that Bravo had accepted his invitation. Another friend to go on adventures with! This life was fantastic so far! The Bone King simply awaited Bravo's response to his offer of assistance, or if Bravo would like to build his fort alone. Perhaps the raccoon wanted his hideaway to be private, and it wouldn't be private if Azazel was in it!

ooc: so I'm kina retart, didn't notice the description of the area. OH WELL, gotta just work with it now. I'll say bravo didn't really look around into the fort-y areas. lmao i feel dumb. AND a couple more replies and wrap? :D
Bravo squinted his eyes at Aza'zel, completely lost by what he was saying about the space in the room. He hadn't been looking too deep, obviously, having failed to notice some piles of bones thrown about were actually already in precariously built huts. By who? That was the mystery. Feeling momentarily irritated by his own silliness, he tried to brush it off. "What ya mean?" he challenged, halfheartedly. Waving a hand towards the nearest looking shack, he dismissed it and added, "too big, looks like it's going to fall anyway." In all honesty, he did just want a project to keep himself busy. All this wandering aimlessly around was a waste of valuable time, he felt.
His new friend offered to help build the fort, and Bravo contemplated it earnestly. "Hmmm, nah! I need to find a good spot first and..." his voice trailed off and the raccoon kit shrugged. His tummy chose that moment to begin pestering him about food. It was a long walk to find something worthy of eating, hell knew there was plenty of weird mushrooms growing off the decay in this cave but Bravo really did not feel like taking that chance.
Once more, it wasn't too open in the bone fortresses. Azazel cared little about who or what had built them and why, but the bird would let them be. Something about them told Azazel not to take a bone from them and eat it. The structural integrity of them already were sort of 'meh'. To remove a support from it would likely cause one to collapse, and likely a domino effect will cause every other one to implode as well. The thought was quickly dismissed in favor of simply leaving Bravo to his own devices. "If you need help with anything, lemme know!"
That was the last thing The Bone King said in that conversation, before he took off with his previously offered bone. That'd be an excellent meal for later. Carmine eyes flickered back to where he left the raccoon kit, happy to have found a new friend. Friends were fun to have!

Bravo nodded solemnly as his friend Aza'zel took his leave. The raccoon kit didn't know what he wanted to do next, start on his project or answer the restless churning grumble in his stomach. Figuring he could slip out of the bone room quick enough to find a snack, that's just what he tottered off to do. Humming along the way as he poked at a few interesting looking stray bones. What really got him going though, was a gleaming stone hidden underneath a corpse. It was a ruby the size of his baby hands, cooing at it's shine, Bravo carried it with him all the way out of the room thinking about all the other gems that could be hidden in his new home.
