Kyrak was beginning to find new pleasures in life. He learned new words like 'speak,' 'help,' 'friend' and 'dead.' Today, he also found a new word. 'Water.' It was a funny word, to him. Water was the thing that was everywhere here - pouring and lurking and dripping onto the ground. He found a little pond, even.

He claimed it as his own personal space of water, and he liked his own little pond.

The tiny parrot dipped in and out of his pond, fluffing up the little stubs of feathers beginning to break though his skin and washing himself happily. At times, he'd chirp: "Krrr-aaawww-wwrrr!" in a poor imitation of saying his new word.

Glacia found herself wandering again, she'd left the owl's company and decided to move around and explore on her own. She heard the drippings of the water as it fell off the walls and into these little ponds laying around the floor. She snorted and walked up to the closest one and looked down into it. The reflection she saw was odd to her but she pulled her head back and looked around once more.

The sound she heard was very strange to her ears, some sort of bird but she didnt know what. Was all the Magji some kind of bird? She snorted slightly and moved toward the sound looking back and forth until she spotted a green spot fluttering around in a puddle. Slowly she walked over to it, he hooves clipping on the floor as she did. When she got close enough she thought maybe this bird would speak like the owl did. "Hello there." She mused and pulled her head down to look a bit more closely at the coloration on him.

What a strange little bird she thought turnning her head this way and that to see him. She of course didnt understand why he was rolling around in a puddle, but he seemed to be enjoying it. "My name is Glacia."

Kyrak stopped dead in his splashing, standing up to his ankles in his puddle and staring up. Although this new creature had cloven hooves like his boar-friend, it wasn't black and it was talking like the owl had.

He wasn't particularly colourful yet either - in fact he probably looked different from other newborn birds. While they at least had all their downs, Kyrak seemed to be lacking many - showing pinkish skin around his tummy, head and wings. There were still scraps of green, greys- even some stranger, perhaps unique feathers that were scarlet with pale blue tips.

Regardless, he... 'spoke.' "Sssp-ee-kkrrk! Kkrraww-wwrr!" Although he was a little on the loud side he was excited - evident by the little parrot going back to splashing around in the tiny pond.

Glacia noticed right away that the bird was missing feathers, and was probably as new as she was to this world. Though she wasn't sure how intelligent it was quite yet. When it squacked at her she pulled her head back, flinching somewhat but brought it back down as it began to splash around once more. Getting an idea the caribou looked around the room for a bigger pond. When she found on big enough for her, she stepped into it and splashed like the bird had.

The first splash arose a childish feeling in her that she liked. Soon she was splashing around and kicking up her hooves like a child. The water reaching up and clinging to the thick and soft fur around her legs and neck, making her look like a wet dog.

Soon she found herself almost soaked and walked out of the puddle, shaking the clinging water off of herself and all over the ground around her. Glacia looked around for the bird to see if it was still there and splashing around or had flown elsewhere.

Anima's shadowy wanderings had taken her far from her hatching place, at least as far as she could tell. There was so much here to explore, so much knowledge to gain... And... were those voices she heard in the distance? So young, she had not a grasp on her Magic yet. But she knew it had to be good for something. She closed her eyes, hidden towards the back walls of the room. It was difficult to hear over the sound of the waterfall, but perhaps her... heartbeat-sensing Magic could feel its way to her target(s)...

It worked! Eyes closed, she could feel two separate heartbeats, beating at different rates. Such a feeling confused her, and she only concentrated on the Magic long enough to get her bearings, and then let it go with a sigh. She was not used to the feeling of another being pressed against her mind like that, blood that was not hers pounding in her ears. Slowly, she crept around the room, trying to see through the mist. And then a figure could be seen... a rather large figure. The bird was too small to notice at first but she knew it was there.

She lay down some distance away, intent on melting into the background, and listened...

Kyrak understood the guesture. Sort of. He knew what it was like for someone to mimic your actions and what it was like for someone to lash out at you for trying to be friendly. The parrot croaked slightly before he began bouncing up and down on his talons, splashing water briefly before he scrambled out, shaking what little feathers he had dry.

"Kkrrr-ee-nnkk!" he chirped, hobbling forward with a little clack-clack-clack of his nails. He began circling and bouncing around the fawn's hooves, chirping happily to himself.
