Ruine didn't normally stray far from the comforting howl of Monoceros, but she was feeling particularly adventurous today. She started off padding with a spring in her step around the caves, but the spring had deflated as time had gone on. Some friendly souls had warned her about the rather unfriendly souls that wondered in these parts, but she didn't really take note of the cautions.
So many of the bones snagged her attention, some sharp and fractured, some round and soft. Others were pearly white, whilst some still fed dark fungi. But she was looking for something in particular. The young feline had imagined it in her dream last night, it was a massive bone, nearly the size of her, and was yellow from age. She had no idea how she would transport it back to her den if she found one like it. But there would be a way.
The room was getting a bit foggier and murkier, the atmosphere felt like a muddy puddle. Maybe it was her sleepy head. She had strolled a fair distance.
Ruine yawned baring her little baby canines. Her tongue curled as she stretched out her mouth.
Maybe I should have a little nap. Ruine trawled over to a little crevice and rounded up into a ball, tucking her sleepy little head under her oversized paws.
