sorry for the short post :')

As he hoped, she did recognize him through his burns, but she seemed concerned at his wounds. The bear tried to offer her a reassuring smile - after all, he'd made it this far after the fight with Vazi, he was sure he'd survive so long as he didn't engage in another fight any time soon. His skin was still healing, and he didn't want to reopen his fresh wounds. "I'll tell you later." He answered after a moment, glancing around at the Gembounds that were slowly beginning to gather around them. Leon wasn't certain of what had happened between Arkrael and Vazi, but considering what the stag said, he had to assume they had a falling out of some kind. He didn't want to put a damper on her meeting by revealing her ex-boyfriends horrible deeds. Besides, it seemed she'd clued in to some kind of danger in the caves, and he was almost willing to bet it had to do with the psychotic stag. He nodded and sat back, waiting.

Leon turned, his attention attracted briefly by the approach of a couple others. Fisher had come in with a couple others following behind him, and for a moment the bear wondered if he recognized them - the black dog and a lynx, but he wracked his mind for an answer and could find nothing. Oh well. The burns made his skin feel stiff, and he only smiled and nodded at the fisher cat before turning his attention back to Arkrael. Maybe she'd have an idea of what had happened to Amaria's little child, too... he could only wait and see.

Amaria

You fell away,
What more can I say?
The feelings evolved,
I won't let it out,
I can't replace...
Your screaming face,
Feeling the sickness inside

Amaria hadn't been far behind Leon in their decision to head, quickly, to Eridanus. She had stayed behind only a moment longer to send Cancer and her daughter to Canis where the Bone king could watch after the cub so that they may hunt down the stag that had dared catnap their child. Half way to Eridanus a road pierced through the area, summoning all those that could hear. At least that's how it felt to her. Her legs trembled as her emotions once more tried to get a hold of her, but she was quick to shove it aside. She remember vazi. If only having briefly seen him at a game long ago in this same area. She doubt he would remember her as she had only watched the on goings.

Once caught up with Leon, Amaria gazed at all the gathered gembounds that had shown up already. She prowled up towards Leon and lifted her head to look at the wolf. A familiar wolf at that. "Rae..." She breathed out as her ears pinned to her skull. She wasn't sure what was going in, but she looked tired and angry all in one go. For a moment she wanted to yell at the wolf. To demand what her lover had done to her cub, but surely the kind wolf would have never condoned what was going on. She hadn't seen Arkrael in such the longest of time anyway. It would probably not do well to start in on her without figuring out what she had summoned everyone for.

Every ounce of her wanted to ignore everything else. She just wanted to blurt out why she was there and interrogate the wolf. Well, she would probably skip the interrogating part and skip right to the pleading of her to track down the stag. She would be absolutely devastated if Rae would not help. Surely she would have sympathy over the fact that audacious stag had stolen a child from her home and injured her in the process.

ooc: this thread is terribly confusing but HEY CANCERS HERE

Carcino left Remedy with Azazel feeling only half-certain she'd be alright. He sped through the caves, though, ignoring his guilt for leaving her there. Remedy wouldn't understand, but it was for the best. He might not come back from this. Every time Carce went into battle, he made peace with whatever gods there were, in hopes the Ancients would welcome his spirit if ever he failed to survive. To win. To protect.

His heart pumped hard as he made it to Eridanus, and quickly, located his beloved with the others. Familiar and unfamiliar faces had gathered, but no deer. No cubs. No Cure. Carcino boiled as he prowled closer to Ammy's side, his armor glinting under the new colors of the forest. He'd worn all but his mask, which still wasn't ready for use again. Summoning gemstone into just the right shape was hard enough- he couldn't force it. So, unmasked, he stood with a feirce expression beside Amaria, taking only a moment to run his chin across her scaled cheek in a mixed gesture- reassurance and claim. After all that had been taken from him lately, the idea that he might be fighting side-by-side with Amaria frightened him. If he lost her again...

The group was surrounding a wolf, one who looked worse for wear. The obvious signs of battle wounds clouded what might've been a beautiful canine's pelt. She was speaking to Leon, but there were many other familiar faces as well. None of which took Carce's attention immediately. His mind was a mess, all battle-ready and unseeing. Uncaring. He wanted his girl back. A rumble in his throat, he'd get her back, one way, or another.

More and more seemed to gather and this in itself eased Arkraels worries if only for a little while. A smile turned up towards Kerberos as he came into view. She nodded her acknowledgement of him before she looked to Fisher and the other two that had came in about the same time as well. As Leon spoke her attention went back to him. A dark frown painted over her features but she finally gave him a nod of agreement to his words. That would be fine. She needed to start telling everyone about. She was just about to turn around and hop up onto her opal throne gem that towered over the others, maybe not kerb, but that was besides the point, when a familiar feline came rushing over. Her brows furrowed as the look on the leopards features was not one of curiosity, but of an anxious panic. Not to mention the feline did not look at all like she did when she had last seen her. "Ammy?" she questioned as she quickly looked over her new dragon like features. Though with a quick shake of her head she pinned a firm look to the feline "Just give me a little bit and then we can talk," she spoke gently seeing the urgent need in her eyes.

A pang in her chest arose as she pinned her ears back. 'Origin please don't let that have been a cub that belonged to you,' She whispered in thought as she turned and bounded up on top of the opal gem. Turning around she faced all the gathered gembounds. For a moment she sat there, rather unsure on how to even begin telling them what all was going on. It wasn't very often she got up in the middle of an entire group, but she couldn't dwell on that now. "I'm not sure how many of you are aware of what's going on in Orion right now, but..." she paused for a moment, looking from one gembound to the next, "there is a stag who has claimed home in that area. Some of you may know of him, some may not. His name is Vazi Hasira, though he has been going by Hasira as of late. I have been watching him closely for the pass several cycles and he is becoming a great threat to everyone in the caves. Everyone except for the few herbivores that have sworn allegiance to him."

"he has harmed Cubs before. The last one I knew of was a young white lion. I am not quite sure what has happened to this young one, but just the other day he uh...." at this she paused, hesitating to speak of the traumatized cub that was still tucked safely away in her den. The little cub hadn't said much since the assault, only spoke of her name before closing up entirely. She barely even ate unless Arkrael forced it. She tried not to look at Amaria as she did not want to know just yet what she was speculating. "The other day he brought another cub here... In an attempt to accuse me of things I had not placed. That I had stolen the lion cub from him. As much as I would like to claim that blame it is untrue. He harmed the child in attempts to use her against me. As to which I responded... We fought. And he had fled. The cub is with me. She's a bit worse for wear but she will make it just fine...." at this she again paused and forced herself to look at Leon and Amaria. The leopard had tears in her eyes, with a rage set deep within the stunning blue orbs. Her heart sunk and she knew right away. For now though, she continued.

"That is not why I have called you all here. Hasira has to be stopped. No more can we tolerate his foul deeds against Cubs and even grown gembounds. He will not stop until every last carnivore is either his slave or dead. He is no doubt plotting his next move since he lost the fight here against me the other day. There is no telling when, but we need to be ready. We need to protect the caves from his vile taint. Especially for the young gembounds who would have no chance against him. He has shown it already that he will take any child he can and threaten to rip them apart if we do not conform to his ways. So....I ask each and everyone of you for your assistance. I can not face him alone. There is no doubt in my mind that he will gather his own forces to challenge me once again. To challenge any carnivore or any others whom do not wish to see things his way. We cannot allow him to do this anymore..." by the time she had gotten half way through her speech another feline strolled in, loving his way next to Amaria and she could have flinched. She hoped they would understand why she had not focused on Cure just yet. She cleared her thoughts and looked away from the two, once again looking after one gembound to the next, "Who's willing to help?" she left it at that. Waiting for the responses of the others before she continued any further.

The silent guardian watched the gathering from the shadows, silent as a wraith he observed them and listened to what the she wolf said. He knew of this Hasira, knew of the crimes she committed, the sins she laid with day after day, yet he would not answer the summon.

It was not the first time that he would have ignored the summons. Many would call him a coward, a craven fool, that he was scared of fighting, when it was the exact opposite. He did not fear death, he did not fear the darkness, or the evil brought on by war and the hunger for power.

What he feared was what he had always feared, that the chrysalis in the caves where he made his home would be used against him, should he ever pick a side, so he never had. He was on his own side, he had killed many who had thought to threaten the unborn lives of his charges and he had cut them down, time and again.

He felt the ages weigh down on him as he listened to the earnest summons of the she wolf, to think that creatures such as they with the magic abilities they had still fought over the age old struggles was something that saddened him. He hated fighting, he hated hating anything, he just wanted things to be left in peace, for everyone to be happy. It was a fool's wish, but then if that made him a fool, then so be it.

Leon listened to his friend deliver a passionate speech against the evil stag. So it seemed he had made his way to Eridanus then. He was relieved to have heard that the cub he took - Cure - was safe, considering Amaria had been so worried. They all had been. But Arkrael managed to save her, and now they were going to launch an attack against the stag with torches and pitchforks. In the back of his mind, he still felt it his fault - he too had tried to save the cub, though his disappearance made Leon wonder if he really did manage to escale after the fight with Vazi. "I'm with you, Arkrael. He needs to pay for what he's done." The bear's voice, hardened with disdain, rose up with stark determination. He needn't say much else. Leon would delight in punishing the evil stag.

The wolf spoke, addressing the group gathered. She addressed Amaria first, but then went on the explain the situation. Vazi Hasira. Yes, yes, he knew all this. The leopard pressed into Amaria's cheekbone, nose wrinkling as he stowed his impatience. Then, she spoke of a cub, of the child being harmed, and his blood boiled...

...with a gentle glow of his horns, he reached for Amaria, to try and calm his temper, or at least, to get a feel for her own emotional standing. Instead, he got only the fierce determination of those around him, and briefly, it overwhelmed the cat. He quickly released the cast, focusing again on what Arkrael was saying. He didn't like the idea of leaving Cure here- for he knew it was his daughter the wolf had found and rescued, and for that, he'd be grateful- he wanted only to bring his child home, back to Canis if need be, where she could be safe and with her family. The dark cat rumbled his protest, but as Leon spoke, held back any biting response he might've had. Instead, he met eyes with Arkrael and with a stoic nod, agreed silently to play along- at least, for now.

Arkrael listened as they all spoke. Her gaze lingered on Kerberos, wondering if he would agree. It would certainly help their cause if he did agree, but she would not push him too if he so did not wish to. Leon's response was what she was hoping for and she gave an appreciative nod towards him. Soon Cancer responded and she took note of his aggression quietly. She could understand it and in no way took offense to it. She kept her gaze on him, and Amaria, letting them know if they would like to stick around a little bit longer than the rest that she would take them to their cub so they could at least see her. She would, however, have to insist that they did not try to move her.

"Thank you all, for at least hearing me out. For those that are willing to assist me, I will come find you when the time is needed. For now this meeting is over..." She hoped they would understand and would help, but she didn't want to keep them here any longer. If they were unsure then they could think on it in depth in their own privacy and perhaps give her an answer later when she sought them out.

Leon's gaze drifted around those gathered. There was less of a response calling for Hasira's crucifixion than he had hoped, and probably Arkrael too, but that didn't matter. They didn't matter. Leon would get his vengeance - he would make Hasira suffer for what he had done to his little sister, and he would free those the stag had taken slave. His lips tightened and he fixed his gaze back on Arkrael, nodding as she dismissed them. The bear took a quick few steps after her, brushing his shoulder against hers. "I'm behind you on this. He'll get whats coming to him." Leon spoke bitterly, glancing sidelong at the rest of the gathering, then back to her. "Call me when you need. I got your back."

He understood she would need time, just as Leon would to heal. He couldn't handle Hasira like this, with his skin still bleeding and burning. But as soon as his condition was better... He huffed and turned away, returning to Amaria, checking with her; then he would return to Pisces, to croon over his children, to promise their safety in the coming days.

The great white beast sat in silence as the adults gathered around, speaking in soft, hushed tones. There was a danger in Orion, so close to his home. He knew he had to protect Canis from something, but he had never expected this. A discomfort spread through him, but he did not speak. He stayed silent, the whole time, waiting as Arkrael locked eyes with him.

Quietly, the three headed guardian bowed his heads, pledging his silent allegiance to Arkrael. She did not have to say anything else to him-- she had said enough. His teeth were hers, whenever she asked for them. The others were fairly silent for a moment, but Arkrael swore she would find them when the time was right.

The white dog rose to his feet finally, glancing around passively at the others. A fear gripped him, a sense like he had let something slip in his absence. This meeting was important, but he had to return home. Immediately. He shared one last glance with Arkrael, grave and serious, and hope she knew that he was on her side.

He didn't have the time to waste with words. His body broke through the forest, and the ghostly giant was gone in an instant. He had to return home, before the worst befell his family.
