"Nine! TEN!" She whirled around, dazzled by the sudden light in her eyes. "Hidden or not, I'll find yo--" Remedy's words cut short suddenly as she spotted the big, striped tail. She immediately clapped her claws to her beak, stifling a burst of laughter. She couldn't hold it in. The little cub galloped over and clapped her claws against his tail, all palm as she kept her claws withdrawn. "KERBEROS!" She cried, as if he were being silly on purpose. Did the big dogs really think he could hide in a pile like that?? Maybe if he didn't have that fat candy-corn tail! She guffawed.

"I found you so it's my turn to hide now! You count, and I'll show you how a pro does it." She slid to the side, strutting confidently a few steps before pausing with a shoulder perked, head turning to glance at him side-long. Maybe if she were older, it'd seem almost flirty- but the little cub was just being a turd, showing off. She'd wait for him to get into position before she even bothered surveying the land.

Kerberos was absolutely baffled by how quickly the little one found him! That trick always worked on Bones! (Well, not really.) Still, he unburied himself from the pile of bones and grinned widely, his tail wagging and scattering countless of bones.

It was his turn to count so he put on somehow three sets of even bigger grins and woofed excitedly, "OKAY!" all at once. He rose and tromped over to the definitive Counting Wall and put all three heads to the solid surface and raised his paws to block the rest of his eyesight.

"READY?" He continued to bark in his loudest voice. "SET!!" His tail continued to sway, clearing a huge dusty patch of land behind him. "GO HIDE!!"

And then he began to count... Uh. Sorta. Well, he put some effort into it. "One... Two... Two... Four! No, no, one, two...Three? Three! Four! Five-- Six-- Six? Wait where was I? I'mma start over..." And it went on like this for well over ten seconds, but that was okay.

He wanted to make sure that Remedy got the purrfect hiding spot anyway.

Remedy squeaked as Kerberos ran to the wall, scurrying out of his tail's range as it swung past. She giggled at his warning, then startled and turned to run as he shouted the okay. It was the trio's attempts at counting that paused her paws. She turned to look back, brows crooked and a smile on her face. Laughing again, she shook her head and turned away. Silencing her giggles, the cub scurried to the other wall and began to climb. She knew the best ways to hide were to stay out of general eyesight- and the little gryphon hauled herself into a crack higher up on the wall with some effort. Kerberos would reach the last of his count just as she squeezed her hips and tail in, doing her best to block the red feathers from view. Quietly, she twisted in her tight space and looked past the ruff of feathers over her eyes to watch anxiously. This was gonna be good!

Sure, she'd played plenty of Hiding games with Cure in the past, but this was entirely different. Something about being hunted down by a giant three-headed beast sent a quiver of thrill down her spine. It was just like evading the big red deer, except she wasn't so scared. The experience left her confident though, for the deer hadn't even noticed her in Orion when he'd taken Cure. Oh, but that was a sad thought. Remedy pushed it aside. She was the best at everything she did! That was a true blue fact! Kerberos didn't know yet just what he was messing with! Remedy was Origin Cave's very best hider!

"SHHHHHHH!!" Finally, one head huffed at the others, fed up with the game of trying to count with three mouths without a proper order. "Onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightnine TEN!" He growled as quickly as he could, and with a thump of his tail, he lifted up. He reached up with his paws and stretched against the wall, massive claws digging into the surface as he flexed and shook out his fur. He finally settled back down on all fours and then...

Then he began his search.

His big paws dragged over bits of broken bone, his six eyes peering around at every nook and cranny he could see-- but even as one head scanned the walls he did not notice the flash of red in the crevices. Nope, despite his best efforts-- he couldn't seem to find Remedy!

But his noses... Well, his noses were a bit better! He started to sniff and when he caught her scent, he started to creep towards her hiding spot. She had picked a great place to hide, but he was going to find her soon at this rate! His three sniffers could not be out-hid!
