Azazel was very disappointed in not Remedy, but Carcino. Remedy was far too young to know such profanity! So the Ave decided that he'd take her under his wing... as in carry her by her scruff... and take her to Polaris to do some sight-seeing and perhaps drive her away from her habits of saying words such as... well, the f-bomb and s-bomb and so on. You get the point.

The Bone King deposited the child at the mouth of the cave and smiled. "Welcome to Polaris, Remedy."

She'd hung like a sour-faced ragdoll the entire way. Despite getting to be outside of Canis, she knew damn well that she was still in trouble for her tussle with Liora. This field trip wasn't for fun- it was a trap.

Azazel plopped her down and she whirled to face him, until he mentioned the name of this cave. Polaris. Woah. She turned to look, expecting to see flames and dragons like in the stories. Instead, it was a disappointingly large cave with-- wait, what was that!?

"WOAH! That thing's HUGE!" She pointed at the Spire glowing in the distance. Way cooler than bones.

The Ave dropped the child, and she quickly whirled around to face him before spotting the great towering Spire ahead. Azazel smiled quietly and chirped, "That's the Spire. I'm sure it's the source of all of the magicka in the caves..." But then he decided he needed to get to the point. "Remedy, I thought we could come here and do a little sight-seeing, but we also need to have a little talk about your potty mouth."

The Spire. So freakin' cool. She stared at it for a while longer until Aza'zel spoke again. She looked at him with a renewed glare, ears flat and brows pinched. Oh great, a lecture. She sniffed and looked away, uninterested, ever the diva.

"I only call it like I see it, Uncle 'Zazel. Your daughter Liora is a royal bitch. Not my fault." She looked at him out of the corner of her eye, spicy. "Can't fix stupid."

Well. Liora could be a pain at times, but he still didn't appreciate the word choice that Remedy was using. Fluffing his feathers indignantly for a moment, he smoothed them. "Well, Remedy. Some words aren't very nice, and Pa shouldn't be saying them in front of you." He'd make sure to lecture Carcino later on proper parenting technique.

Remedy snorted. "What's wrong with the words I say? Pa can say whatever he wants around me!" She didn't like how Azazel was dissing her dad. Not cool, uncle birb. Not cool. She fluffed her feathers indignantly, then turned her nose up. "I do what I want."
