QUESTS/EVENTS
Torrential downpours cause localized flooding and many upset cats. Along with these frequent rain, from gentle drizzles to heavy rainfall, there seems to be a flux of Magicka drawn in particular to water sources. Occasional jet streams of warm air make narrower tunnels harder to navigate. On occasion, the rain intensifies, becoming howling storms with sleet or large hail. However, the temperatures overall are a little warmer, with snow and ice in temperate caves somewhat receding.
White had no idea what was going on but BOY WAs she excited. She bounded towards her father, greeting him with a tiny pink nose pressing towards his legs before she sat down next to him, looking at Fisher.
She didn't know what an uncle, royality or god was. But she guessed it didn't matter. "Is my mom a queen?" she asked abruptly.

Fisher squinted at the tiny fluff of a dog with wings. He was starting to get this real bad habit of droning out his best friend Black, but Black didn't seem to mind so that was okay.
"I don't know, who's your mother?" He asked, blinking a bit confused. "I mean, she probably is-- where else would you have gotten your wings from? Black's just a barkfriend, not a king. So if you're a princess you must have a Queen Mom somewhere."
Before White could get even more excited about having a queen mom, she looked up at her peasant father, quizzically, before looking back at Fisher. Who was also a peasant. She tilted her head. "I dunno."
She looked back at her father, almost accusingly.

Black tilted his large head, peering between the two, pendulous ears hanging a bit.
"Mother? The giver-of-stone was a crow. A small bird. Black. I do not know her name."
The dog then continued to sit quietly, not explaining further, not seeming to think it mattered all that much. He certainly didn't confirm that she was a Queen; in fact, he seemed rather lost in his own thoughts, as if listening to something that wasn't... quite, there.

Fisher nodded as Black clarified. A black bird-- so definitely a queen. Unless they were also a king, which didn't make much sense but Fisher somehow guessed it was possible.
Unfortunately, he couldn't remember the squawking bird was though he had met her plenty of times, and so he didn't connect the dots that Black was talking about Eve, a bird he would definitely call the Queen of Loud.
So instead, Fisher changed the subject, "yep, a little black bird! Your mom was a queen, alright. Nothing like the little Princess of Light, since she was black, but I'm sure she had an equally cool title. Maybe we can meet her sometime."
A flurry of questions abruptly left the hybrid's muzzle. "Why are mom and dad black but I'm white? What's mom a queen of? Why isn't dad a queen? Why isn't mom around? Is she okay? When will she visit? What's her name?"
Fisher didn't know any of the answers to those questions, but he didn't really care that much either. So he decided, promptly, to tell White the first thing that came to his mind.
"Because sometimes two blacks make a white, and I would have to meet her to know what she was a Queen of. Black doesn't have wings, so he can't be a Queen, and anyway he would be a king if he did have wings. I'm sure your mother is fine, but why don't we go look for her?"
He wagged his tail, not bothering to get permission from Black before he started to wander of. "Come on, White! I'll show you how to catch cave rats, if you want!"
For a moment, White was sad. Had her mother neglected her? Did she do something wrong and now she hated her? How could she ever make it up to her if she wasn't around? The pup's ears flattened against her head as she watched Fisher for a moment.
"Cave rats?" she asked, quizzically.

"Yep! They're big, ugly furry things with bad hygiene but they taste just fine. They like to lurk around the walls and in cracks, so keep your eyes peeled!"
Fisher grinned back at the pup, tail wagging. A good hunt always cheered him up, and so he assumed that it would get her mind off of her mom in a snap. With a bit of sniffing around, Fisher thought he was hot on the trail of a cave rat...
White followed, but the thoughts of her mom didn't leave her head. Perhaps this is what they call 'abandonment issues.'
She barely lifted her head to watch Fisher snuffle around the caves, though she couldn't smell anything herself. She paused behind him. "What are you doing?"
