Proudly, White looked over her three gifts for three of four of her favourite people. The first, a shiny piece of metal for her brother, Oliver. The second, a strange, ornate bracer for her best friend Caravaggio, and a worn little knife for her Uncle Fisher. She just had to find something for her father and she'd be good.

She grinned abruptly, and hobbled up to begin leaping and bounding excitedly. She had to find her friends and give them their gifts immediately.

Fisher was taking what he called a Fisher Cat nap, which was something like a cat nap except curled up in his armor, so that he looked a bit like a big shiny rock. Almost no one bothered him when he was napping like this-- but he could hear the pitter patter of puppy paws and reluctantly he opened his eyes.

Yep, it was White. Fisher stretched out, yawning, and decided he better get up for the little bundle of joy.

"Hello, White."

White stopped, wide-eyed and tongue lolling out. "Fisher!" She started bouncing around the noodle, giggling.

"I have something for you!" she said before she bounded off towards her gift pile hidden behind a pile, taking the rusted over dagger and hobbling back proudly to Fisher, placing it down in front of him.

Fisher blinked as the pup darted off and then came back with a rusty tool that reminded him of something Fang had. It had a sharp end, but otherwise it was hardly much more than a bit of rusty metal.

... Not that it mattered to Fisher. Rarely did anyone give him a gift-- in fact, not since he was a child did someone go out of his way to give him something unique.

"White," Fisher started, a smile breaking on to his features as he reached out a paw to touch the hilt. "You got this for me? Really?" His wide eyes met hers and he couldn't help but grin. "Thank you so much!" He woofed, lunging forward to lick at her face with his slobbery pink tongue.

White nodded frantically. "Really! For you!" she said, licking the top of Fisher's head. Yes. And the armour. She doesn't fuckin care.

She flopped down onto her belly, eyes wide and tongue still lolled out. "Do you like it?"

Fisher nodded enthusiastically, picking up up with a paw (which took some effort, considering his paws werent really made for wielding weapons) and sitting down in front of her. He leaned back so he could lift up his other paw and open the bag at his chest, putting it away for safe keeping.

The floppy white pup was just so cute. He loved her like she was his own child-- except she wasn't, which was a relief. Him, a father? HA. Boy, that'd be weird. He'd be such a shit father. It was a good thing he never had a kid with anyone, haha.

"It's absolutely wonderful, White. With a bit of polishing, I bet it'll be a real fancy thing. Everyone will be so jealous of me!" He woofed, wagging his tail. "In fact, I know a mongoose who has a dagger like this, and I've always wanted one. You're the best."

White had no idea what a polishing was just BOY FISHER LOVED HIS NEW THING. That made her super excited. Then, at the mention of the mongoose, she blinked. "Why would they be jealous if somebody else has one?"

Then came the flurry of questions. "What's a mongoose? Is that better than theirs? Why is it called a dagger? Why is it such a weird word? Where is the mongoose?"

[M TAG: SWEARING!]

Fisher blinked at the pup started asking all sorts of questions that, yet again, the poor uncle didn't have half a clue how to answer. So he more or less just bullshitted his answers. To hell with it.

"Well, she is the self-proclaimed Queen of Thieves, even though she doesn't have wings." He always found this kind of funny. "So she thinks she deserves the world... Though maybe she does. It makes her a bit envious, is all, when someone has something she doesn't... And as for what a mongoose is, its like me but smaller. Much smaller. Long and noodley. We're practically, uh, cousins!"

Fisher wagged his tail. "It's definitely better than hers, anyway, and I don't know why it's called a dagger. Maybe it dags? ... Erm... The mongoose is in a windy place very far away. Maybe someday I'll show you...!" He offered, giving her a toothy grin.
