The next couple days seem to slip by and time was lost to the capybara. What had happened between her and the Lord was so startling, it left her confused about her feelings. He seemed so happy to create a life with her and even called her beautiful, saying that he loved her. Those words echoed in her mind none stop. Then why is he not acting the same today? Or the day before for that matter. Ever since the morning came he went back to the way he was when she first met her. And of corse she wouldn't ask him directly. That would be over stepping some thin line even she could see. Carefully, she picked up the shard of glowing stone to a safe place to keep it. Finding a good place in the Forum with a room that had all it's walls. Yes, this would be a good place. Setting the gem down softly, the rodent went to collect dried grass and other soft things to attempt at making a nest for the little life. After pushing it all together, the female gazed down at her work. Could be better. Frowning a bit, but she didn't mind and placed the glowing gem in the center. --------- "Speechy speechy speech." With the glowing stone in the nest, she spent the rest of the evening laying near by; lost in thought. The twins called her Auntie but this child will call her Mother or Mommy. Will I be a good mother? Gazing over to the nest and tried to imagine what it will be like. Will the child even like her or will she have to earn their trust? Scooting closer to the gem, she rested her chin on the edge of the nest and gazed over to it. "Will you be sad if I'm not the best mother? I've never been one before . . . nor do I have one; so I can't promise anything." A gentle nuzzle was given with a smile crawling on her face. "But I will try my best . . ." Soon the female would fall asleep next to her little nest. Keeping close by the glowing gem; not wanting to leave it alone; in fear it might just disappear and realize that this was all a dream. Even if the Lord didn't tell me those sweet things again, she was sure he would say them to their child and help them grow strong. Strong enough to be able to leave Orion without fear of being to weak to defend them self. Yes, this child will be stronger then her; and far braver as well. You will be strong.
