( dated a few weeks back, when it was snowing in pisces :3 )

After Vicktor left, Lavonia had been downright sad, and it tugged at him in all the worst ways. He wanted to cheer her up and make her happy and smile that devilish smile at him again, and the idea to bring her back to his home to show her just popped into his head like an adscript, an afterthought. Even if he didn't like his cold home, maybe she would! The waterfall was pretty to look at, after all. And he was awfully muddy from Cetus. He could use a bath.

But when they both came to the end of the tunnel linking Cetus and Pisces, the air became frigid and cold, colder than he had remembered it, and little white specks floated towards them, landing on his nose. What was this? He opened his mouth to eat some, and it melted in his mouth.

Then they both entered the room, and his entire home was transformed! Instead of rolling hills and huge ponds, there was frozen ice and a blanket of white covered everything! He laughed, and glanced at Lavonia, and jumped right onto the blanket, hearing the white stuff go crunch under his feet.

"Come on!" He shouted in joy, running all the way to the waterfall.

With barely a thought, his feet warmed up as a defense against the intense cold, melting some of the ice with a short hiss- and he ran, and he felt comfortable and at home and warm without the cold to worry about.

With Vicktor gone she spent more time sniffling and stifling tears than anything else. She had been following her sweet coyote Firenze since then. She wasn't sure exactly where they were going. Maybe Vicktor was there? He promised it would make her feel better! He really was sweet, trying to pull her out of her blue mood. Bring back that cheerful violet she claimed ran through everything!

Though when they arrive she didn't pay much attention. Trapped in her own thoughts of where or why Vicktor left and what she had done wrong. Firenze was eating something? Why...why was it so cool now? Glancing up she watched Firenze 'crunching' into the dense blankets of snow. She practically froze in place as he told her to follow. This...this was BEAUTIFUL!

Everything practically sang to her! The soft white blankets, the falling flakes of wonder! It all was breathtaking and she wasn't sure how to react. This was just overwhelming! The beautiful waterfall! Eyes wide and full of tears, not of sorrow but of joy! She ran after Firenze!

Though half way to her destination she threw herself into the snow. Her thick coat puffing up as she rolled. Only to realize after a moment or two, Firenze was probably watching her right now. She just couldn't help herself! This felt like home! The beautiful images that sang to her while she was still in her chrysalis. It all was as it promised!

Snow, as far as she could see! Rolling onto her stomach, her tail in mouth she looked at Firenze. Smiling wide her tail fell and she let out this enormous laughter! With no words to describe how she felt she practically threw herself at Firenze. Flinging snow at him before she jumped over his body! Every time she went to open her mouth, nothing but a loud purr could be heard! She was pretty embarrassed about this, though hopefully he could see she appreciated this trip! He was so sweet and nice to her! She would be sure to tell him! When her loud purring would let her that is!

He watched her eyes come alive when she saw the snow, how she laughed and purred and ran and pounced at him, and he couldn't be happier! She'd forgotten about Vicktor, who'd she'd been sad about this entire time, and he felt a huge weight being lifted off of him as he dashed about in the snow, evading her snow missiles. With his two paws and his hind quarters shaking in the air, he collected as much snow as he possibly could and flung it in an arc at her, laughing with her, dancing with her in the snow.

"You're beautiful, Lavonia," Firenze said, his tail swishing back and forth as she collected herself. He felt like his heart was in his eyes as he looked at her. "Just beautiful."

He grinned as she gathered more snow to throw at him and backed up, then cried out as he slipped on something hard and slick! He fell and slid, looking down, his legs sliding every which way. He scrambled for any kind of foot-hold, and noticed he had slipped onto the huge frozen pond of the waterfall. From his standpoint it just seemed like this big black mass under his feet with shining white lines on top, and it fascinated him.

"Hey!" He laughed out of pure wonder. "You can walk on this water! Come and try!" He slipped less and less often as he focused on getting his paws under him, and with shaky legs, he finally stood. He didn't notice he was still producing heat from his paws, as it came as a natural thing to him now.

Before she knew it her sweet coyote began to fling snow at her. Each of the soft twinkling masses gliding in a beautiful arc towards her. Oh wait, she should probably move! Too late! The snow had fallen on her, like an awkward yet lumpy hat. All she could do was burst out laughing, she was so entranced by the beauty! Not to mention the skill it took to fling such a display into the air. A smile permanently thrown across her maw she danced around in this wonderland with Firenze. Coming to a soft halt when he spoke just tender words.

"You're beautiful, Lavonia"

"Just beautiful."

He was so full of love, so genuine and kind. Her coyote, her Firenze! When he had eyes on her, one could damn near swear his pupils were hearts! At least, Lavonia thought so. "Thank you Firenze!! Y-youre really beautiful too! And Sweet!" Without getting lost in the moment, and speaking from her tender heart she quickly began to gather more snow. That was until Firenze fell, then slid away. His legs going every which way! Finally he was in the middle of a frozen spectacle.

A loud shout from his maw and laughter filled with the purest of wonder he grabbed her attention. Walk on the frozen water? Would that be safe? Firenze wouldn't put them in any harm, knowingly of course! Well he never had to ask her twice, she was already bounding over! Placing her large padded feet onto the frozen surface, she was a natural at this. Easily gliding over with a smile accompanied by a giggle or two.

She came right over after complimenting him, making him blush a firey red, and by the time she skated across the ice like a natural, he'd only just taught himself how to stand properly on the ice without his legs wobbling and skidding every which way. He saw her have absolutely no trouble, and he shook his head, pretending to be exasperated and acerbated. "Well, alright, just wait for me! Not everyone can be as graceful as you," He teased, making incredibly slow movements towards her.

His paws were still warm, but the ice held, the top layer being extremely thick. He paid no mind to the notion, however, and kept his pace slow, focusing only on her. Eventually Firenze was brave enough to lengthen his strides, and he started to skate near her.

"Bet you would beat me to smithereens if we played tag on this ice," He joked, tapping her on the shoulder with his nose.

'Not everyone can be as graceful as you' He teased, she could only laugh. "Weeelll I am kind of a big deal! I'm as graceful as a...a..QUEEN! Yeah! A future QUEEN!" Queen was the perfect word! Strong, graceful and of course a big deal! Watching her sweet coyote gather the courage to lengthen his strides and skate towards her. She could only day dream about the future. They would be the best of friends. Maybe more!? When ever she looked towards her fiery coyote she felt a swell of bubbles within her chest. He would stay by her side wouldn't he? Of course!

Firenze had made it over faster than she realized. His joking words shaking her from the hopefuly thoughts of future possibilities! He had given her a quick tap on the shoulder with his nose. SO, he wanted to play tag did he? On ice of all things! She had a feeling she was a natural with all things snowy and iced! Better get started and show him! "You tagged me as it!" A dramatic gasp escaped her maw. "Now I have NO choice but to- to beat you to smithereens my dear Firenze!" Stifled laughter and a look of determination filled her. Large padded and furry feet gripped the ice below her with ease and she took off like a shot! Running straight past her target, whom was right next to her to begin with. Only, she made a quick turn on the near opposite side of the lake. A wide grin across her features. "HERE I COME!" Pushing off from the ice she made her way to him! Practically gliding across the frozen surface! She was coming for Firenze!

As soon as the word 'queen' escaped her pretty lips, he knew it was perfect for her. Her grace, her elegance, her charm, her devilish smile, the way he wanted to follow her to the ends of the earth; if she was his queen, he would be her knight and protect her and make her smile for as long as he was able to. She was his dream, after all. His perfection. He loved her even before she woke up.

This didn't keep him from being acerbated; she wanted to play tag?! He had no hope of winning!

He scrambled out of her line of chaos when she took off like a shot from the other side of the lake, all of his limbs going every which way, and he half-laughed, half-yelled out of sudden exhilaration and fear. She just barely got him, touching his tail as he scrambled like it was effortless, and he heard her sing-song perfect voice call as she skated away like a perfect queen, "You're it."

He huffed as she twirled away like it was nothing, his legs still wobbling. "I'll get you, Lavonia, my queen!" He laughed, knowing he was absurd. But he was enjoying himself, and so was she, and that was the good thing. "Just you watch!"

He huffed one more time, getting determined, and he didn't skate, he practically ran across the ice, using his claws just so to keep himself from sliding. He didn't dig in, per se, but it helped dramatically, and soon he was racing towards her, ready to tag her back, laughing all the way.

He began to scramble from her sudden 'attack'. Laughing and yelling in exhilaration! She had made it over to him, poking his tail with bubbling laughter. "You're it!" Lavonia sang out, stressing each syllable, holding them much longer than what was probably need. But she was very happy, oh so happy with her dear coyote. Whenever they played she wished it would never end. It was practically paradise, to feel loved.

Bouncing a few steps back she twirled away, bounding a couple more feet from Firenze. He would be coming for her soon, just as soon as he gathered some proper footing. Though with feet this those, would he be able to?

'I'll get you, Lavonia, my queen!'

Oh he was determined! A fire lit in his belly perhaps? Excellent! That just meant all the more fun to be had! Only now he didn't skate as he was trying to before. He didn't skate like Lavonia, no, he ran across the ice. She definitely didn't expect that! A loud 'AHH" escaped her maw in surprise, trailing off into a fit of giggles as she skated away. Or well attempted too, Firenze had caught up to her much faster than she expected. Looking back she was a bit startled, but this was all part of the game! Though with her not watching where exactly she was going, or paying much attention on her footwork she slipped. Landing on her soft fluffy belly and sliding away, at a much slower pace, slowly spinning to a stop only to see Firenze.

He kept running, hardly knowing how to stop, and when she fell, he just jumped over her, skidding to a stop, his claws creating a flurry of ground up ice. He looked at her and leaned over her, shaking his head. Then he touched her with his nose, very gently and said, "You're it."

Then he laughed and ran away over the ice, feeling happy and confident. If he heard the ice crack under his feet as he ran, he ignored it. The ice would hold, surely! The ice was thick! And he had no idea what was underneath, and frankly, at the moment, he didn't really care.

Over his shoulder he called, "Catch me if you can!"

There he was, still running! She was sure they would collide! Until he had leapt over her, skidding to an ice grinding halt behind the young snow leopard. Leaning over her, he simple poked her with the tip of his nose. In the sweetest voice she could imagine he had rang out 'You're it'. Laughing all the while he sauntered away, calling a taunt over his shoulder. 'Catch me if you can!'

Oh her knight, her sweet bachelor! She would show him! Even with his new found footing she was positive that he was no match! She would tackle him! Scrambling to her feet she slipped once or twice. Hey she couldn't help it, she was eager to show Firenze who was boss in this game! Finally her thick padded feet obtained some decent footing. Wielding a mischievous grin she trotted after him. Ready to throw herself in his direction! Wondering in the back of her mind if his new found footing would give him an advantage in the end.
